Haru x Reader (Free!)

Love Rivals? ✖️Chapter 5✖️

Haru woke up to the Sun's light busting through his window. He got up from his bed and threw on his swim suit and got into the already filled bathtub. "(Y/n).....I hope you love me the same way I do..." He said while sinking down into he tub, burying his head under the water. As he closed his eyes under the water he heard his front door open. "Makato....can't you give me at least a few minutes in my tub?" He mumbles. "Haru! We are gonna be late to school. Did you forget that (y/n) is walking with us?". Haru's head shot up from the water and a light blush came across his face. "S-she is?" He asked. "Yes! Now let's go, get out the tub and get dressed!" Yelled Makato. Haru jumped from the tub only to fall and slip on a puddle of water he created while getting out. 

His vision was black and all he could remember was Makato getting (Y/n). When he woke up he found himself on his bed and Makato and (y/n) were no where in sight. He got up from his bed and went to the kitchen to make himself some Mackerel. He looked at the time and realized that...he still had time to get to school?! His eyes widened and he ran out the kitchen, got dressed, ate his food, grabbed his bag and ran out the door. 

He walked into school and went to his class and sat next to Makato, while (y/n) sat next to Gou. Haru was staring at her, Makato saw this and got a bit mad. "Hey Haru! Later do you wanna come with me and Nagisa to this clothes shop we saw earlier?". Haru didn't respond. Makato had an annoyed face and plopped his head down onto the desk. Haru saw this and asked "Makato, you ok?". Makato just groaned his answer. Haru took that as a yes and went back to staring at (y/n).

Once school was over, Haru asked if he could walk you home. "Oh, um...sure" you said as a light blush came across your face. He grabbed your hand and you two walked to your house. As you got to your doorstep your uncle walked out to greet you but saw Haru and excused himself. "I'm sorry (y/n), you never told me you had a Boyfriend". You looked at your uncle and then Haru and your face tuned red. Haru saw this and smiled. "Well, (y/n) once your done come inside, I've made your favorite". Your uncle turned around and closed the door. 

"I'm sorry Haru...I didn't think he would think we're dating...". He smiled and looked at you. "Haru....your eyes are so pretty..."you said while getting lost in his blue orbs. "(Y/n)....you're so pretty.." He said. Your eyes widened and you smiled. You and Haru leaned in closer and closed the gap with a kiss. You pulled away and realize what you did. "Ah! Haru....I didn't mean to-". Haru stopped you and said "(y/n) it's okay....you were the best first kiss I ever had". You smiled and said goodbye and walked into your uncles house.

"What the fuck? Dammit Haru....I was supposed to be your first kiss!" said Makato. "I'll kill her...no...I'll make her suffer". Haru heard Makato and walked up to the bush he was hiding in. "Dude, get up...why are you here anyway?" Asked Haru. Makato's face blushed pink and he looked down at the floor. "Haru...I need to tell you something". Haru looked at him. "What is it?" Asked Haru. Makato felt his eyes getting  heavy and a burning sensation was felt. He looked at Haru and tears started flowing. "I can't Haru...I JUST CAN'T.." yelled Makato. Haru's eyes widened as he looked at the crying mess that was his friend. "YOU'LL ALWAYS THINK OF ME AS YOUR FRIEND....NOTHING MORE...NOTHING LESS". Makato stopped yelling and grabbed his cheek. He realized...Haru kissed it. "Don't tell anyone I did that...not even (y/n)" said Haru. Makato plopped down on his knees and smiles while more tears came flowing. "Don't worry....I won't...". 

Haru's hand grabbed Makato's hand and he helped him up off the floor. "Haru....let's go home.". Haru nodded and they walked home.

This didn't come out the way I planned it, but overall I like it...hopefully someone can see the Tokyo Ghoul reference I put in this chapter ;-;
