(Kyle's POV)

School.

Some people dread it, others thrive in it. Whether it's skipping class with friends or inviting them over to goof off, there's a mix of fun and frustration. But, just like anything else, there's the bad-people you can't stand, freezing classrooms, and some foreign teacher's accent even the smartest can't decode.

And a lot more,

And then there was Cartman.

You don't survive high school with Cartman-you endure it.

Nevertheless, school probably would play a large role to your life, how you spend it is how you create experiences that would overall build how you are as a person.

A new school year is coming up, I'm going to make sure I feel fulfilled by the end of this new one. I hope this year would be a good one, I just know it would be!

I think to myself as I put on my orange zip up jacket, I fix my curly red hair up, or atleast try to, it always ends up messy and not the way I want it to, but I'll be late at this rate if I keep worrying about this. I then stare at the green little hat on display beside my drawer I out grew a long time ago, I smile remembering all the memories I had with my friends.

I open the door only to get hit in the face with freezing cold, the first day of school's start didn't seem all that good right now.

...

The icy wind howled through the cracked windows of South Park High, carrying whispers of secrets waiting to be uncovered.

(Stan's POV)

Three knocks was heard from the outside of Stan's door,

the banging of the door echoed throughout the room, Stan paused the video he was watching and lowered his earphones.

Stan opened the door only to see-

Shelley.. ?

Why was she here? She dosent usually attempt to talk to me or enter my room.. It was most likely important.

"Shelley? What are you doing here?" I asked, tilting my head slightly in confusion

"Stan, I have to warn you about something you turd! Something really horrible." Shelley asked,

seeming abit.. worried..?

"Uhm, sure Shelley, go right ahead, I'm sure it can't be that bad." This intaraction was making Stan uneasy, He fiddled the end of the fabric of the brown greyish warm sweater He always wore.

After she told Him, it was infact really that bad.

**Later at school**

(Kyles POV)

Everybody was acting really weird, on my way here I talked to a few of the people I knew on the way, but then with each person I talked to they would receive some text and they would panic, and then they'd leave me all alone immediately! Was this some sort of prank on me?

The start of a new school year should've felt like a fresh beginning. But this time, something felt wrong. Maybe it was the way people avoided eye contact, or how Cartman wouldn't shut up about some new video game. Whatever it was, a strange heaviness hung in the air.

As Kyle walked through the crowded halls, a chill ran down his spine; he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched somehow, he ignored it, it was probably his mind trying to mess with him.

I see Stan and the others at the end of the hallway, Stan looks exhausted, looks like he ran to here from a mile nonstop, he also looked paler than usual, like he has just seen a ghost for some reason, I wonder why.
