ThornClan's territory is located in a deep mixed forest. The cats are stereotypically protective and pesky. They are good at stealth and defending.
Their camp lies in a sandy hollow which is protected by bracken and thick bushes. The leader's den is in a trunk of a fallen tree and so is the majority of dens, except for the medicine den which is in a hollowed-out cave in the walls of the camp.
ThornClan mostly hunts rabbits, squirrels, voles, mice and songbirds. If the prey is low, they can catch lizards as well.
Birds of prey can cause trouble for younger cats. Those being mainly owls, buzzards, hawks, kites and falcons. Martens could also be a threat to kits, but problems with one are rather rare. Badgers have been mostly driven out of the territory, and an encounter with one is unlikely. Foxes occasionally wander into the territory, but aren't a predominant threat, only willing to attack kits, younger cats or sickly/weak warriors, in times of desperation.
There have been tales of bears, lynxes and wolves showing on the territories, but most of the cats will never see one as they are incredibly rare. (Foreshadowing?!)
Other animals include deer, which typically pose no threat to the clans and usually stay far away from the cats, and boars, which can be a slight threat and cats are taught not to approach them, especially if they see their young with them.
Shaded cave:
A dark, concealed cave in the forest that serves as a hideout for the clan during emergencies or for training exercises
Pinestones:
A semicircle made up of four, somewhat large rocks under the shade of a large Pine tree.
Frogs' pond:
A tiny pond near that was a stream many moons ago. It shelters lots of amphibians or small insects. There was a spring of water flowing into it from some hole that might've been made by twolegs, but it got clogged.
Echoing winds:
An eerily quiet area beyond the borders of ThornClan. There is an unsettling lack of prey or predators. It served as a training ground in the past, but was abandoned after a terrible incident. It isn't talked about much, and the memory of the event has since faded. Some rumors say that three warriors were murdered by a clanmate who was never catched, others say it involved twolegs. Nonetheless, the cats are advised to stay out of the area.
