Lucy is 9 she is constantly being sold to people to work and do other stuff and one year three years later she is 11 she is sent to a different type of house the guy who had bought her was called Mike he only wanted her for her organs to make more profit
Lucy was kept locked in the basement and she was constantly restrained to the table and Mike would take blood from her and he would sometimes take bone marrow then he decided to take a kidney from her and give it to a hospital he restrained her to the table despite her protests he had only given her a little anaesthetic he cut her chest open about to remove a kidney when an officer burst in quickly arresting him and calling for an ambulance Lucy was stitched up and taken to hospital she was terrified of the hospital she saw needles and tubes and machines she hated it She lay in the bed when a doctor came in
D-hello Lucy I'm your doctor I'm just here to do a blood test quickly okay
Lucy didn't respond the doctor sterilised the equipment he went to put the needle in but Lucy moved her arm
D-I just need to take some blood okay
L-no no I don't want to lose anymore blood don't take it please
D-I have to it's only a little just these three little tubes okay
L-no
D-well we need to do it to see if he gave you anaesthetic or drugs
L-no leave me alone
D-we need to do it so either let us or we'll have to restrain you to do it
L-r-restrain no no please Lucy said starting to sob but she still refused again and again to do the blood test so the doctor restrained her to the bed causing Lucy to scream in fear she started to sob loudly as the doctor put in the needle and starts to take some blood
L-please stop I don't want anyone to take my blood anymore Lucy cried
The officer who arrested the man called Zoe has heard Lucy crying and screaming she entered Lucy's room and sat in the chair next to her bed whilst the doctor was taking blood
Z-hey there I'm Zoe I saw you earlier
L-hi Lucy said still crying she kept glancing at her arm seeing the blood being taken
Zoe took Lucy's hand
Z-don't worry this is just for a test okay to make sure your okay
L-but I don't think I have enough blood left the guy you arrested he took a lot of my blood and bone marrow he wanted to take my kidney as-well
Z-dont worry you do have enough blood left
L-I want them to finish now
Z-there nearly done there just in the last tube okay
L-okay
Zoe could her the panic in Lucy's voice she needed to try keep her calm for ten minutes whilst they finish and do the other tests
Z-you know what I just realised I never learnt your name what is your name sweetheart
L-umm it's L-Lucy-Lucy Chen
Z-that's a very pretty name I'm officer Anderson but you can call me Zoe
L-are they finished yet
Z-just a few more minutes okay Lucy

Z-how about I ask you some questions whilst we wait for them to finish
L-okay
Z-so how did you know the man you was staying with
L-umm I was sold by my parents to someone and they do what they want with me then sell me on he's the 12th person I've stayed with I haven't seen my parents in like two years not that they want me anyway they just see me as something they can make a profit on

Z-we might do an investigation on it do you know anything more about it
L-my parents have the paperwork for when they sell me just incase they true to back out there payment it's in there bedroom in the closet in a safe the code to the safe is 1....6..4..9
Z-okay we'll check it out
Zoe arrives at there house and finds the paperwork she arrests Lucy's parents and goes back to Lucy
Z-there both arrested we found the paperwork and detailed umm reports from every person who had you about what they did I'm so sorry about all of it
L-it's fine
Z-it's not but since your parents are out away and you have no other family members we are supposed to put you in foster care
L-please don't
Z-but I have an offer for you you can go to foster care or you can come stay with me permanently
L-really?

L-it's okay Lucy got dressed into the pyjamas

L-sorry Lucy says as a few tears fell down her face

L-I don't do it anymore I promise it was last year because of Mike the guy who you saved me from

L-I'm good just a bit tired but do you think I might die he said that if someone finds me then I'd be dead soon after because he took a lot of blood
Z-you won't die plus if you are scared about it we can always just go back in tomorrow and make sure okay
L-okay thanks Zoe
Z-no problem do you think you know how much blood he took tho
L-I was there for a year I felt the needle 8 times a week he was did it twice on a Monday and each time he said he was taking half a litre and it took him 20 minutes each time so probably a lot of blood is gone
Z-okay tomorrow we're going to get you checked okay since it's late hospital is shut and this isn't really an emergency but if you start feeling lightheaded tell me okay
L-okay umm where should I sleep
Z-I'll show you to your room okay
L-okay thanks Lucy got shown to her room and sat on her bed she sat on her bed a few hours later she got out of bed but she went really dizzy and lightheaded and her legs buckled causing her to collapse to the floor Zoe heard the thud and rushed to Lucy's room
Z-LUCY!! Zoe shouted as she rushed to Lucy's side checking her pulse she was still breathing but her pulse was weak Zoe rang 911 Lucy was taken to hospital
D-she hasn't got very much blood in her body we need to do a blood transfusion that will last 6 hours otherwise her heart will stop
Z-okay umm do you have enough blood
D-no we only have half so we have 3 hours to find 4 litres of type A blood
Z-wait I'm type A can I donate blood
D-let me test you and see
Z-okay here Zoe quickly rolled up her sleeve and got tested
D-okay so you can donate blood but the limit per person is 1 litre so we just need two more people
Z-okay Zoe got her blood taken and they went to try find people to donate Zoe went to the station and grey and his wife agreed they both had the same type as Lucy Lucy was connected to the blood after 3 hours there was only one hour left until the blood transfusion was done Lucy woke up a little but she could feel something running through her arm it was cold and warm at the same time
Z-Lucy your awake how you feeling
L-better what's in my arm
Z-there doing a blood transfusion for you because you hardly had any blood in your body your heart was going to shut down one hour left then it should be done
L-how long has the blood transfusion been going
Z-five hours
L-that's very long
Z-yes it is
L-how did they have enough blood
Z-well I donated some and two of my friends also donated some
