"So, kid. What was that earlier, about soulmates?" Sirius asks Percy, his eyes holding none of the kindness heard in the words.

"She's my soulmate..?" Percy answers awkwardly. Despite having faced down gods, this man made him nervous. Sirius looked him up and down with sharp eyes.

"She could do much better.... But, she could also be stuck with much worse," Sirius reluctantly grounds out. Percy let out a breath that he hadn't known he was holding.

"Our youngest brother- Ron- would be worse," Fred and George finish eachothers sentences.

Sirius pulls a face at that, believing their words. "With a mother like yours, I'm surprised that you four turned out alright," Sirius grumbled.

"Percy isn't that bad - he's just a bit stuck up -" The twins retort in defense of their brother. At the name Percy, Percy lifts his head up to turn to the direction of the twins before realising that they obviously wouldn't be talking about him.

Sirius just dramatically throws himself across Remus' lap with an even more dramatic wail about how his 'little flower' is growing far too quickly. Remus just gives him a flat look, entirely unimpressed. Aphrodite, however, she could sense the love that emanated from the two together, with a soft smile overtaking her stunning features. She went back to spending time with her children.

With a relatively graceful flourish, Remus shoves Sirius off his lap, a mischievous grin on his scarred face.

A sudden flash engulfs the room. "THA-NA-TOS!!!!" The person shouts out in rage.

He did what? -Yeah!

On instinct, Thanatos conjures up a 'wall', making it so that the others could see what was happening, but the person couldn't see them.

"Yes, mistress?" Thanatos replies nervously to the voice. Appearing in front of his mistress.

As the light calms down, a fourteen year old girl with bright green eyes practically glows with anger and messy black hair that reaches to mid back. Her soft face, adorned with a scar of lightning, marred by an angry snarl. It came to reason with the occupants of the room that she was Hyacinth.

"Where in the name of all that is holy are my uncle and God-father!" Hyacinth yells out. "I recognise the feeling of your blasted interference anywhere!"

"If a single hair is out of place, I swear that I will make your life a living hell, I will kill you slowly and painfully, only to revive you and do it again!" Hyacinth threatens with a sharp glare on her features and madness in her eyes similar to the old Black family before all the inbreeding had begun to take a toll. Percy feels a grin creep up his face at his soulmate's words, despite the shiver that creeps up his spine at the vindictive words falling from her lips.

"Don't worry master, they are perfectly fine," Thanatos tries to placate his Master.

"They better be." She answers coldly with a steeled glint in her eyes.

Tears begin to rise in Sirius and Remus' eyes. They were both aware that she cared for them, but the protectiveness she exhibited caused emotions to rise. Both adults feel warmth in their chest at their daughter in all but blood threatening a deity over their safety.

Percy just looks at his soulmate with wide eyes and mouth agape, "...pretty" leaves his lips before he could even realise he'd said anything. Sally and Poseidon just look at their son amused, Annabeth quietly snorts at Percy's lack of words, finding the fact that the usually snarky teen was unable to produce anything but a singular word.

When Percy finally brings his thoughts together enough to pick his jaw up off the floor, he grinned. Glad that his soulmate was able to show when she greatly disapproved of something, as well as the fact that she was able to terrify a deity, and not just any deity, Thanatos, the god of death.

Sally just shakes her head, entertained at the lovestruck smile on her son's face, not all that dissimilar to the looks that she would find his father making at her whenever he thought she wasn't looking.

Hades, witnessing his old friend being threatened by his mistress, lets out an amused snort before it develops into full bellied laughs. "Shame, it's karma for all those times that you laughed at me for the exact same thing!" Hades laughs at Thanatos, knowing the other could hear him.

Everyone bar Persephone, Hecate, Hestia, and Poseidon look horrified at the prospect of the God of the Dead laughing. Persephone just rolls her eyes at her husband's behavior, having long since used to it. He may come off as this big evil deity, but he's not any different to Poseidon. He just gets worse of a reputation as he is linked to the dead.

Poseidon grins at his brother, laughing. It had been eons since he'd been granted the opportunity, how he'd missed it. Sally, seeing Poseidon brighten at hearing and seeing Hades' laughter, smiles at them both before meeting Persephone's eyes, only to be given a soft smile and a secretive wink. Sally chuckles before ruffling her son's hair, who is busy gazing lovingly at Hyacinth, enjoying the way he practically squawked.

"Thanatos. I swear..." Hyacinth mutters at Thanatos. "Whatever you're doing, it better not be one of your boredom plans, because if you don't remember the last one, they never go well," She stresses.

"Mistress!" Thanatos exclaims almost scandalously.

"What? We both know it's true, you're lucky I stopped you. Otherwise, we'd have an angry or annoyed Hades on our metaphorical doorstep," She sighs.

"I mean, how bored do you have to be to send him a pair of pink fluffy cuffs and a bloody strap on," Hyacinth huffs.

Thanatos just laughs nervously, realizing that Hades would now have learned of that plan.

Persephone is laughing at both the idea and Hades' face. Hades face is a bright pink, but his eyes are a mix of anger and embarrassment. Slowly, his face splits into a grin that promises nothing good for his old friend Thanatos.

"Thanatos, I swear on the Gods, if I don't get my fathers back in one piece, I will destroy you." With that last threat, Hyacinth disappears in the same flash of light she came with.

Thanatos undoes his magic only to gulp at the sight of Hades.

He clears his throat. "Well, the break is over... Time for the third chapter, Letters from no one,"
