Prologue

In the town of Hollow Creek, the legend of the vampires looms over the town like a heavy fog, eerie and suspenseful. The elderly gather in their dimly lit kitchens, educating their children with the same old tale:

Sharp fangs, a cloak, white skin.

The creatures prowl the outskirts of town during the night, stalking everyone who lets their guard down. No one is absolutely sure what vampire exactly look like or how they behave, for those who have seen them never lived to tell the tale.

I thought to myself, "what if these stories were just, stories? Stories to keep children from sneaking out at night?"

"Or what if these stories were... true?"

The chill autumn air arrives and so does another wave of fear. With Halloween inching closer, the tales spread like wildfire throughout town.  Each night, the whispers grew louder in the minds of the young and the old.

With fear increasing, so did curiosity. Many people traveled into the unknown depths of the forest to uncover the truth of the legend. Some came back from the woods, the werewolves not present, and some never came back.

With the woods at our back, we are left to think:

"Shall we stay curious, or shall we cross the line into the unknown?"
