"Hello?"

"Hey Y/N, it's Sam. We need your help with something."

"Okay, when?"

"Now?" His voice was hesitant and unsure.

"Now? I can't, I'm at work. I can't just leave."

"Please. I wouldn't have call you if it wasn't important, you know that. We'll come and pick you up. Just, please." He sounded almost desperate.

I sigh "Sam I can't just leave."

"Say you're sick or something."

"Fine I'll think of something. Just honk when you're outside okay?"

"Alright. See you soon."

I hang up the call and shove my phone into my back pocket. I push open the door to the bathroom and make my way to the managers office.

I work in a coffee shop and I have for about a year now. I applied here because I thought it was going to be ascetic. And it was, until we got a new manager. He's a peice of shit and hates me.

I walk up to his office and knock on the door to let my presents be know. He already looks pissed. Great. He looks up at me then focuses back on the papers he was looking at.

I cough. and make my voice sound a bit stuffy as I speak. "Hey Damon, I'm not feeling well.

"And?" That just pissed him off more. He look back up at me and narrows his eyes at me. "What do you want me to do about it?"

"I need to go home. And I can't come in for a few days." I watch him closely. I was fully aware that he might fire me right now. But it's Sam who need my help. He know I can't say no to him.

My manager looks back down at his papers. "How many days?"

"A week?" I was hesitant with my answer. I don't know if I just pushed his patients over the edge or not. But if I did then he's contacting his anger better than I thought he would. I watch as he grabs a sticky note and write something down.

"When you get back I am prohibiting you for calling off for a month unless it's life threatening. You understand me?"

I nod my head immediately. "Yes sir, I understand." Holy shit, this is a first.

"Good now go." I did not hesitant. I immediately walked out of his office. I grabbed my things and undid my apron as I walked out of the building.

Just as I exited I hear the hank of a car and turn in it's direction. Their it was. The beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Impala. I was just as in love with that car as Dean was. Hell, if he ever looks away from his baby for just a second I would steal it immediately. He never let's me drive it for that reason. I walked up to the car and got in the backseat, seating my things next to me.

"So, what are we dealing with this time? Another haunting that you guy could have easily done yourself?"

Dean looks at me through the mirror and speaks in a very serious tone. "Shape shifter."

I just look at him before grabbing my thing and reaching to grab the door handle. "Nope."

Sam grabs onto the back of my shirt before I could leave. "He just kidding. It's not a Shape shifter." Sam glares at Dean and Dean smiles.

I hate those little shit heads. Shape shifters are the one thing I will not help them with. I've helped them with one one time and it was horrible. Never again.

"Okay. If not a Shape shifter then what?" I relaxed back onto the seat and put my bag back down.

"We don't know yet." Sam speaks as he let's go of my shirt and looks at his brother before looking back at me.

Dean looks at me through mirror again. "That's why I had Sammy call you."

Sam interrupts before Dean finishes. "It's Sam."

Dean ignores him. "We're hoping you could you some witchy magic to help us figure it out."

I give him a confused look. "You can't just do it yourself?"

Dean holds his hand up in the air and looks at me like I've just asked to most ridiculous question. "Oh no. We did some research on how that work, pros and cons of it, and we are not participating in that. We'll leave that up to you." He let's out a nervous laugh.

"Seriously dude? What you do is just as bad as what I do."

"Yeah, well, we trained to do this. We did not train to do witchcraft. You did so you have to help us."

"So what, you just want me to figure out what it is and that's it?"

"That is the plan. As soon as you've done your part we'll drop you off at your house." Sam speaks up this time.

I think about it for a second. There's really no harm in any of this. Except for the fact that if I fuck up then I could get an attachment. But I do already have the time off. "Okay. But I want to stop by my house first. I want to get changed and I've got to grab a few things."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dean parks the car in the parking lot infront of my apartment building. The three of us get out. They follow me upstairs and I let them inside to my apartment.
"You guys just wait here. I'll be about 15 minutes." I leave them in the living room and I head to my bedroom. I get change and then pack a small bag with the needed ideas for everyday life. Then I pack a few things that I would need to help me figure out what Sam and Dean are dealing with. Things including my journal, which has spell and research, crystals and I grabbed three necklaces just as I walked out.
I walk back into my living room to find the two sitting on the couch, talking to each other. I put on one of the three necklaces that I grabbed then I hold the other two out to them. "Here."
"What's this?" Sam asks as he grabs one and Dean slowly grabs the other one. They both look up at me.
"Protection necklaces."
Dean speaks up with skepticism in his voice "Do they work?"
"From my experience, yes. But if you want to fuck around and find out then you are more than welcome too."
"No thanks." Dean puts on the necklace and so does Sam. I put my bag over my shoulders and we all head out. We get back into the car, I in the backseat of course and Dean starts driving.
"So where we headed to anyway?"
"Arizona." Sam said as he looks at a map.
I raise my eyebrows at him. "Arizona? That's like a 5 hour drive from here."
"5 hours and 37 minutes." Dean and I look over at Sam. He looks back at us after a few seconds, confused by the silence. "What?"
"You calculated the time?" Dean looks back over at the road to make sure he wasn't going to crash then he looks back at Sam.
"I was bored. There's nothing else to do."
"I'm sure if you would have asked Y/N for one of her books she would have given you one."
Sam silent for a second before looking back at the map. "I didn't think of it at the time."
"And by the way, 5 and a half hours is not that long." Dean looks at my through the mirror.
"It's not that long for you because you're use to long drives. I'm not use to sitting in a car for that long."
"Well just sleep or something." Dean shrugs his shoulders as he looks back at the road.
I cross my arms over my chest. "I'm not sleeping for 5 and a half hours."
Dean was already starting to get a little pissy. I watch as his hand tightens on the steering wheel and his jaw clenched. "Look, I don't care what you do. I just don't want to listen to your complaining."
I shake my head by his ridiculous action. "Whatever." I scoot over to sit behind Sam and I lean against the door.
This is going to be a long drive.
