4: Newbie

This chappy is going to be really short. sorry for not updating in a while and forgive me if I make any mistakes... This chappy is dedicated to DoughGirl8 who said she'd wait for my update. Since I can't dedicated to more than one person but I'd like to... so it's also dedicated to StarishXx, fantasy_lovr, juvia_uchiha2001, kotoridragneel15 & animeismasoul. It's been about a week since the kiss happened. Yuzu had left the next day and things kind of got weird between them, Karin and Toshiro. At school they're regular classmate, home they do their home work together and that's about it. Maybe it's because Karin has never had a boyfriend before and after Toshiro's confession he hasn't made anymore moves on her.

All her classmates had decided since it was already becoming hot that next month, they'll all go to the water park. The teacher had finally come around to the idea and had gotten permission from the principal. "Yay!" everyone cheered after hearing the good news. "Next on my agenda," he said, "just like Toshiro we'll be receiving another transfer this late in the year." A blonde boy with blue eyes walked in.

"He's kind of cute," a girl whispered.

"Do you think he's athletic? Maybe he can join the track team..." the co-captain of the track team said.

"Look at the way he's dressed, is he a foreigner?" another girl whispered.

Why does everyone have something to say, Karin wondered. "Hi. I'm Yukio. Nice to meet you all." Some girls started to giggle. "Well since Ringo transferred out, take the empty seat on the opposite side of Karin, would you." He walked to the back and took his seat. "Karin our trusty student would you mind showing him around during lunch?" the teacher asked. Karin shook her head, "it's fine."

Some of the girls got angry. "Why is it that she's the one to always show the new guys around?"

"Well to answer your question miss Haruka...our Karin here is a member of the student counsel and you see it's her job to do that." Everyone gasped as her beans were spilled. Karin felt Toshiro's gaze on her but she didn't bother to face him.

At lunch period Karin was showing Yukio around. "This is the roof where most people come to eat their lunch as you can see..." Karin felt awkward because she noticed Yukio staring at her. "Do I have something on my face?" she asked, trying to dust anything off of her face. "No...you're just really cute." Karin felt a small amount of heat warm her cheeks. When did I become like this? It's all Toshiro's fault, she thought. "Is something wrong?" she heard Yukio ask. "No, um, it's nothing."

After a while of walking around the school compound, Karin had finally decided to ask the question that's been at the back of her mind. "Yukio-kun...why aren't you wearing the correct school issued uniform?"

"Oh. I didn't buy it as yet."

"O-okay."

Toshiro felt a bit of jealousy wash over him when Karin was permitted to give the new guy a tour. Then on top of that he'd heard him call her 'cute', he'd more then expected Karin to lash out at him but she simply blushed. She didn't even notice him on the roof during lunch. He could feel that the new kid was coming on to Karin...his girl. Then he stopped. Is she really my girl? he thought, I mean I've never made any moves since the party and maybe she's becoming wary.

Whatever I've got to stop this guy before he tries to get Karin into his grips.
