The room erupted in cheers as Mr. Schue wrote "Beatles" on the whiteboard.

"I don't think we've ever spent two weeks on one assignment, Mr. Schue," Tina remarked as he turned to face the class.

"Hey, the Beatles are so epic that we need two weeks to do them justice," he replied, Hunter nodding in silent agreement. "This week is all about the early years of the Beatles, when all they had was a belief in each other and a belief that together they could do anything."

"The school year seems like it's never ending, and now we're wasting two whole weeks on a band from the 1940s?" Kitty interjected, crossing her arms.

"Seriously, can anyone still relate to the Beatles?" she added, raising an eyebrow.

"Pretty much the entire world," Blaine shot back quickly.

"Yeah, I can definitely still relate," Ryder chimed in.

"Why? Were the Beatles dyslexic and catfished by transsexuals?" Kitty quipped, causing Hunter to roll his eyes and lightly smack his knee from his seat in front of her.

"And you wonder why everybody hates you," Tina muttered under her breath.

"When George Harrison was a kid, he was made fun of 'cause his dad was a bus driver," Marley shared.

"John Lennon's dad wasn't even around," Jake added. "He walked out when John's life when he was five."

"I don't really know the Beatles; I'm a little on the black side," Unique mentioned, shrugging.

"And Ringo Starr was a sickly little kid, which probably means he was sitting down a lot," Artie said.

"And they decided to form a band which changed the world," Mr. Schue continued, bringing the focus back to the lesson. "And, you guys are really gonna have to challenge yourselves this week. Bring your a-plus games. Perform these classic songs in new and exciting ways. If we can push ourselves to a whole new level, like the Beatles did constantly, we can win back-to-back national championships and form a new directions dynasty!"

At that, the room erupted in cheers once again. Just then, the bell rang, signaling the end of class. Everyone quickly grabbed their things, eager to head out.

"All right, see you guys tomorrow!" Mr. Schue called out, a smile on his face as he watched them rush out the door.

As Sam and Hunter strolled down the bustling halls hand in hand, their laughter mingled with the chatter of students around them.

"I can't believe the carnival is finally here!" Sam exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I've been looking forward to the cotton candy and those giant stuffed animals. Are you ready to win me one?"

Hunter chuckled, a playful smirk dancing on his lips. "Oh, I'll definitely win you something. Just wait until I show off my skills at the ring toss."

Sam rolled his eyes, grinning. "You mean your 'skills' at throwing rings like a toddler? This I have to see."

"Hey, I'll have you know that my aim is impeccable!" Hunter replied, feigning offense. "I'll show you who's the real ring toss champion."

They turned a corner, the carnival chatter echoing in the air as the anticipation built. "And the rides!" Sam added, practically bouncing on his feet. "I want to try the Ferris wheel. Can you imagine the view from up there?"

Hunter squeezed Sam's hand a little tighter. "Absolutely. Just don't freak out when we get to the top, okay? I need you to be my brave partner."

"I'll do my best," Sam said, shooting Hunter a playful wink. "But only if you promise to hold me tight."
