As Hunter and Sam lounged atop the piano, Sam, with his usual curiosity, broke the silence. "So how does it work with gay marriage, you take his last name or does he take yours, or...?" he asked, glancing sideways at Hunter.

"They could hyphen it," Hunter responded casually, fiddling with the keys of the piano. "That's what you did to mine when we got fake married, remember?"

Sam chuckled, recalling the memory, but before either of them could continue, Blaine, who had been playing a soft melody on the piano beside them, chimed in. "Right now, I'm honestly just excited that Kurt said yes," he interrupted, smiling dreamily. He turned to look at them, his fingers still gently grazing the piano keys. "Hey, are you looking forward to prom? I fell asleep last night while Tina was texting me about her prom dress."

"Oh my god, she was texting me all night, too!" Hunter groaned, dramatically leaning back against the piano. "She's insisting my tie has to match her dress, and I have to get her a corsage that matches her eyes."

Blaine let out a chuckle. "Tell me about it. She wouldn't stop talking about how she hopes to be prom queen."

"Yeah, she's obsessed, just like Quinn used to be," Sam remarked, causing Hunter to shoot him a quick frown before flicking him on the forehead.

"Don't talk like that!" Hunter scolded, though there was a playful edge in his voice, while Blaine stifled a laugh at their banter.

Blaine cleared his throat, smiling at Hunter. "It's really sweet of you to go with her, though."

Hunter shrugged, sighing. "Yeah, I guess. But... it's my senior prom. I kinda wish I was going with someone I really care about," he admitted, sneaking a glance at Sam, who just pouted, his lips forming a mock frown.

Before the conversation could go any further, Mr. Schue burst into the room, all smiles and energy. "Come on, guys, we're back with the Beatles!" he announced, prompting everyone to move to their seats. "We're leaving the mop-tops behind and moving into their experimental years. Now, the Rubber Soul album marked a turning point for the group, where they literally and figuratively let their hair down. Now, the Beatles were the biggest musical act in the world. They could have remained in their comfort zones, but instead, they risked everything to explore new musical worlds. They had something important to say, and they weren't going to let something as silly as the fear of failure get in their way."

Just as Mr. Schue was mid-flow, Principal Sylvester's voice crackled through the PA system, cutting him off. "Good afternoon, McKinley High. This year, the proms are being fused into one giant Brundleprom."

Marley leaned over, confused. "What's a Brundleprom?"

"I don't get that reference," Jake added, equally puzzled.

Ryder sighed. "That's from The Fly," he explained.

"And now for the moment that will crush 99% of your misguided views about your own popularity," Principal Sylvester continued. "Here are your nominees for Prom King and Queen. First, here are your nominees for Prom King: Hunter Blake, Blaine Anderson, Artie Abrams, and Sam Evans."

The room erupted in cheers, everyone congratulating the boys. Hunter leaned over and kissed Sam on the cheek, grinning.

"And now onto the Queen..." Principal Sylvester continued.

"Please let it be me God, please let it be me Yahweh, please let it be me." Tina mumbled.

"Kitty Wilde—"

"But I'm a sophomore," Kitty mumbled under her breath.

"Aimee Ryan, Jordan Stern, and—somehow—Tina Cohen-Chang!"
