We just passed by the school. It was still quiet. There would be random cars driving. I'm guessing those are the cars in the human world. Everything was going okay so far. Which was weird. But all of a sudden a tree root popped out of the ground which made Ashlyn swerved the car. Making everyone bump into each other.
Tyler: What was that for??
Ashlyn: There was a giant tree root in the road -?
Logan: That's strange... This road is usually well - maintained..
BUMP
Logan: GAH
I tried to catch Logan but I ended up falling on him because of the sudden turn.
Ashlyn: Are you sure this is the right road?
Logan: I'm positive... but there were never roots in the way.
Logan then poked his head out the window.
Logan: Ah! Yeah, there's the gas station we usually... pass?
I poked my head out to see what he was looking at. The gas station was in ruins. Plants hung over the signs and roofs and the windows and cars were in ruins.
Tyler: That's not a good sign
Ashlyn: This is getting uncomfortable.. Maybe we should find a different road-
all of a sudden Ashlyn went quiet and the car speed up.
Tyler: Hey-! What's with the sudden speed??
Ashlyn didn't said anything which worried us but she just ended up speed up more.
Tyler: Ashlyn, what are you doing?
Aiden: Ashlyn... What's up?
Ashlyn: Something... There was something in the trees.
RATTLE RATTLE
Taylor: What happened to the road??
Tyler: Ashlyn, we should turn back! Something obviously isn't right-
Ashlyn: We can't
Tyler: Why not?!
Ashlyn: Because
Its right behind us
We all looked back and saw what was chasing us. It wasn't like any phantom we face. We're not even sure if it was a phantom. But we knew it was a type of phantom. It was so much bigger. Its head looking at us from upside down. And this one had more teeth than the ones we see.
Tyler: There's no way any of our lights are strong enough to do any real damage to that thing...
Logan: Should I try shooting it?!
Ashlyn: NOT YET! We could end up attracting more!
All of sudden rock pillars showed up out of no where.
Tyler: ASHLYN WE NEED TO TURN AROUND! WE'RE GOING TO END UP LOST AND RUN INTO MORE OF THESE THINGS!
Ashlyn: I KNOW, I KNOW!
Q: ITS GETTING CLOSER!
Ashlyn: SCREW IT!
Ashlyn took a harsh turn around the pillar but the phantom still followed us. Suddenly it raised its arm and stabbed onto one of the sides of the jeep. Ashlyn speed up getting away from the phantom for now.
