New Chapter

It's the weekend and Fatima had everybody over for Sunday dinner to celebrate Dee going away and to break the news to the family.

Zac: Hey beautiful

Fatima: Hey fiancé

Zac: Ooouuu, I love the sound of that. Say it again.

Fatima: Hey fiancé.. ( smiles )

Zac: You look amazing.

Fatima: Thank you baby, and you looking mighty fine yourself Mr.Taylor. You know I love seeing you in a suit.

Zac: Oh yea?

Fatima: I do.

Zac: And you know I love seeing you in red.

Fatima: And I love wearing it for you.

Zac: Do you?

Fatima: Uh huh, I do. ( kisses him )

Zac: How are you feeling?

Fatima: A bit tired, but i'm okay.

Zac: You sure?

Fatima: Yes baby, I'm positive. But how are you feeling?

Zac: I feel amazing. Couldn't ask for a better life than the one I have.

Fatima: That's what I like to hear. And couldn't agree with you more. I really feel like I'm living in a dream.

Zac: Its a dream but our reality.

Fatima: I can't wait to be your Mrs.Taylor and we have our lil Taylor. It's going to be so amazing seeing you as a father.

Zac: And I can't wait to see you as a mom

Fatima: I'm not going to lie, I'm a lil scared.

Zac: Guess what? Me too, but we got this. We're going to figure this thing call parenthood out together.

Fatima: Yes we will.

Zac: What time everybody will make it?

Fatima: They should be here shortly.

Zac: Okay then. Well I'ma let you finish getting ready, I'll be downstairs.

Fatima: Okay baby. I love you.

Zac: I love you too. ( kisses her )

Zac went downstairs to make sure everything was in order before the family arrived.

15 mins later Fatima comes downstairs just when the family arrives at the house.

Knock knock knock

Zac got the door

Zac: Hey family, come on in.

Violet: Hey son.

Ty: Okay bro I see you, you looking sharp.

Zac: You know I gotta match my wife.

Ty: I see.

Violet: You both look great.

Fatima: Thank you momma.

Dee: I didn't get the chance to tell y'all with everything going on, but congratulations on your engagement. You deserve it sis, and you to bro.

Fatima: Thank you brother.

Violet: Something smells amazing.

Fatima: Well thank you. We can eat when everyone gets here.

Violet: Okay then.

Fatima: Would y'all like something to drink?

Ty: What you got?
