It was 9:00 a.m in the morning when you walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen. Ruby was busy making breakfast. The sweet smell of pancakes filled the air. "Mmmm it smells good, whatcha cookin babe?" Ruby turned her head around and chuckled. "I'm making some eggs, bacon, and pancakes for my special lady." You walked over to her and hugged her from the back holding her tight against your body. You whispered into her ears. " Why cook breakfast when I can eat you?" Ruby tried shaking herself off of you and grunted. "Babe stop, let go!! You're going to make me burn myself!" You let go of her and sat down at the breakfast table. You shook your head and said "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed". Ruby brought over plates and cups and sat them on the table. "I'm just tired. I couldn't sleep all night." Ruby then walked over to the counter and put her head down. You walked up to her and held her. "Baby, what's wrong?! You okay?" Ruby tried pushing you off. "I'm fine, just get off of me!" You let go once again and walked to the living room and threw yourself on the couch. All kinds of thoughts stormed in your head. You asked yourself why Ruby was avoiding you. Tears slid off your face and you grabbed the remote and turned the t.v on. After 5 minutes of changing channels back and forth, you finally stopped on channel 69. Orange is the New Black was on.
