Abductor/Soulstock Farmer

● large pocket hell ('chamber') created out of prolonged feeding and expansion of a hovel on border of hell and living realm (see Lurker)
● use large 'chamber' to store victims and slowly drain them
● usually hold four to ten victims at once, only abducting another victim when one eventually expires
● Do not outright kill victims unless they threaten to expose them, or harm them past repair
Adaptors
● change methodology to conform to threats
● fluid between all categories
● notable to be any lesser of the categories
Apparitions/Tethered
● Apparitions and Tethered find a location within the physical plane to tie themselves to and manifest within
● cannot leave their anchor, or will be too weak to sustain themselves outside of hell
● use these chosen 'anchors' as hunting grounds, waiting for their victims to pass through or enter the location they have tied themselves to
● physical methodology
○ manifestation of damned is on a physical level, inflicting physical traumas/death when active
○ manifestations are slow to begin, slowly building in strength and potency with every successful attempt in inflicting harm
○ if given time, will accumulate enough strength to kill victim, subsequently consuming the victim's soul
○ in early periods of 'gestation' or weaker manifests, will attempt to be subtle and hidden, due to its weakness in early stages of manifestation
○ can be killed via physical action or attack when manifested
● mental methodology
○ manifestation takes root within the victim's mind, no physical manifestation
○ will inflict psychological trauma to wear down and torture victim. Can lead to the victim vulnerable to methodologists.
○ will drive to break the mind of the victim, either causing the victim to either become catatonic
■ (in which it will then posses the victim and slowly consume their soul,now that the victim cannot protest)
○ Or it will drive the victim to self harm, or place them into scenarios where they would subsequently perish
● Apparitions or Tethers are tied to physical locations that are either associated with the damned soul, or are areas of grievous emotional, mental or physical tragedies
○ violent anchor
■ any place that is either associated with the damned when living, or was the scene for extremely violent actions/crimes
○ tortured anchor
■ any place that is either associated with the damned when living, or was the scene of great suffering mentally, emotionally or physically inflicted
○ sorrow anchor
■ any place that is either associated with the damned when living, or was the scent of deep emotional/mental pain, depression or loss
● stronger forms of these damned, with enough souls fed on and stabilized tie to its anchor, can be both mental and physical methodologies

The Beasts

● damned souls whom manifest as humanoid or beast like creatures
○ each manifestation has its own qualities in size, strength and ability
○ one type of manifestation can be replicated if the damned  soul meets certain criteria and requirement
■ aka 'species' of The Beasts exist, following templates of damned soul manifestations according to the damned soul's traits
■ a separate sub category will be written on the species of Beasts, as there are too many to list
● The Beasts are responsible for legends of various creatures, such as cave trolls, chupacabras, wendigos and other feral monsters in lore
Befoulers
● anchored to remains (typically buried) connected to violent deaths or sorrow
● slowly seep out 'rot' in various forms from anchored remains
○ bugs, famine, disease, etc
● slowly branch out from anchored remains, feeding off of deaths of wildlife and fauna
● longer allowed to spread, stronger it becomes
● can command rotted or dead fauna/wildlife (example: to attack/kill any victim within range)
Befriender
● must gain permission to draw close and begin hunt
● will approach a victim in hospitable(appealing aesthetically, seemingly friendly or charming) form, much like stalker but gain trust and comfort
● using victim's connection, will then target friends or family
● victim is just used as a bridge to attack victim's family and friends
● leaves victim traumatized and susceptible to tormentors, relationship between the two symbiotic
