It had only been a few days since the defeat of Yoshikage Kira, and the small town of Morioh had returned to its peaceful normalcy. However, for Josuke Higashikata and his best friend, Okuyasu Nijimura, things couldn't be the same anymore. They had experienced too much—discovered too many bizarre abilities—to just settle back into high school life. Okuyasu knew there was a world out there, filled with other Stand users, and the urge to explore was gnawing at him.

Josuke and Okuyasu sat by the Morioh Grand Hotel fountain, the sun slowly setting over the peaceful town. Despite the quiet atmosphere, Okuyasu couldn't sit still, fidgeting and pacing in front of Josuke. There was a restless energy about him that Josuke had come to expect, but today, it was stronger than usual.

"Man, Josuke, I can't stand it anymore!" Okuyasu blurted out, running a hand through his spiky hair. "We gotta do something big! I mean, what are we gonna do, just go back to school after all that crazy stuff?"

Josuke sat with his hands in his pockets, giving Okuyasu a sideways glance. "I mean...yeah? That's kind of the plan, isn't it? We're not exactly done with school. Gotta graduate, y'know."

Okuyasu spun around, his expression exasperated. "Graduate? You really think that's all there is, man? Come on, we fought a guy who could blow people up with a touch! We saved the whole damn town! No, The World! You think going back to school is gonna cut it?"

Josuke shrugged, leaning back on the bench. "I get what you're saying, but my mom's not gonna be thrilled if I just up and decide to skip school to go on some wild adventure. I'm already on thin ice with her about the whole...Stand thing."

"Forget your mom for a second!" Okuyasu said, waving his arms. "Look, Josuke, there's a whole world out there! We're not the only Stand users, right? There are probably people all over the world who need help. And you know as well as I do that Stand users attract trouble. If we don't stop 'em, who will?"

Josuke stayed silent for a moment, considering it. He knew Okuyasu had a point. They'd just fought one of the most dangerous Stand users imaginable, but what if there were others? More Kiras lurking in the shadows, waiting to harm people? The thought made him uneasy, but still...

"And how are we supposed to do that, Okuyasu?" Josuke asked, narrowing his eyes. "We don't exactly have the cash to hop on a plane and travel around the world, looking for trouble. We've got no idea where to start."

Okuyasu's eyes lit up with excitement, his pacing growing more animated. "The Seedmaggot-No...Speedwagon Foundation! Jotaro works with them, right? They've got all kinds of resources—money, planes, all that stuff. They've probably got their eyes on Stand users all over the globe! We just gotta convince Jotaro to let us tag along."

Josuke raised an eyebrow. "And you think Jotaro's gonna just drop everything and take us around the world? He's got his own stuff going on. Plus, even if he says yes, what about school? What about my mom?"

Okuyasu groaned, planting his hands on his hips. "Screw school! We'll figure that out later! Josuke, think about it—what's more important, sitting through math class or making sure another psycho like Kira doesn't show up and start killing people? We already know how dangerous Stand users can be."

Josuke shook his head, his hands still in his pockets, though his posture was less relaxed than before. "Okuyasu, I get it, I really do. But my mom...she's already lost a lot, y'know? She's not gonna let me just walk out the door and start playing hero around the world. And honestly, I don't know if I'm ready to leave all this behind. What about you? You really willing to drop everything? Your brother's gone. You're all that's left of your family."

Okuyasu's expression softened for a moment at the mention of his brother, and also at the thought of Shigechi, who had died during their battle against Kira. He clenched his fists, the usual spark of enthusiasm dimming slightly. "Yeah...but that's exactly why I have to do this, Josuke. My brother—he got caught up in all this Stand stuff. He didn't ask for it, but it found him. What if there's another kid like him out there, in some other country, with a Stand they don't understand? What if they get hurt...or worse?"
