{I want both this story and the sequel to have equal chapters. That means I have to update this story
one more time so that it evens out. An update for the sequel is coming SOON though... Enjoy😁}

I sat on the edge of my bed and watched the door like a hawk. It was crazy how much I wanted to open the door and silence all this arguing. But I didn't want him to think every little thing he did was okay.

I know we both walked into this little affair but I knew it was straining the energy from both of us. But we can6't let each other go. That's the problem. We're still madly in love with each other and it shows.

I don't know how this will work. After having amazing sex, we have a fall out... and it always ends up over Ryan and/or Lauren.

I don't know if I should let us go and just continue with life, or keep up this affair and learn how to deal with disappointment and sadness.

This isn't healthy but I can't give it up.

I broke my trance and looked down at my phone. A text had come through and it was no other than Rihmeek.

I rolled my eyes and cursed silently to myself. He was about to put all the blame on me. He knew what I agreed to and every chance he got, he used that against me. But how can he blame me? The way made love to me had me craving his touch throughout the day and night. Sometimes I can't even sleep at night because of it.

I just couldn't muster up the thought of him touching Lauren like he touches me. Even though he told me they havent had sex since she became pregnant, He's lied to me before. It's not that easy to believe him anymore.

(Text Message):

Rihmeek: Why you gotta act like that?

I rolled my eyes as I viewed his question. Why would I not be mad. I had six million emotions running through me right now.. jealousy is the main one.

-You know why... but don't worry about me. I see where you're focus is at..

I sat there, like a dummy, and awaited his text back.

Rihmeek: My focus is you.. I promise. But you know I have a child to look after. Don't act like this.

Without hesitation, I responded:
-You're right. Do you. I'll do me. Simple.

He responded back immediately:

Rihmeek: Nah.. Call me.

-Goodnight, Robert.

I heard it go off and I knew it was Meek. But I didn't want to give in. I knew if I gave him anymore chances, he would began to take advantage of me. I wasn't that same naive girl he took advantage of years back. I was smarter now.

It went off a second time and I looked down:

Ryan: Dinner tomorrow at 6?

I smiled. Two can play that game.

-Sure, baby. I'll be waiting for you.

I closed my phone with a smile, sat it on the nightstand and curled up in bed with Ryan and Meek weighing heavily on my mind.

I placed the key inside the lock and opened the door. I didn't see Lauren as soon as I walked in so I was guessing that she was upstairs.

Sitting my keys down and clutching the mail in my hands, I continued to walk inside the spacious home, closing the door behind me.

It was unusually quiet. I heard sound and movement coming from the kitchen so that's where I went.

As soon as I stepped in, I saw Lauren sitting at the dining table eating at something.

"Oh... hey, baby." She stood up with a napkin placed in her hands.

I walked closer and as soon as I saw what was on it, I looked at her in disgust.

"What, baby?" She chuckled awkwardly.

Pancakes with peanut butter and heavy syrup. Half of it was eaten and I'm sure if I hadn't walked in so quick, it would be gone.

"Why you eatin' that?" I asked her. I scrunched up my face.

"What... it's good. Come here." She pulled me over to the table.

I watched as she stuck the fork into the soaked pancakes and tried to fed me it. I quickly moved back. "Nah... I'm good." I laughed a little.

"I don't care what you say.. this is good." Lauren placed the fork inside of her mouth and had a look on her face as if that was the best thing she's ever had.

"Mhm.. whatever you say." I moved to go upstairs but then I remembered, "Oh yeah. Here." I handed her, her mail.

"What's this?" She asked and took the letter after wiping her mouth free of syrup with a napkin.

"I don't know. You know I don't read you're mail... You told me not to." I placed the rest of the mail on the counter.

"Yeah.. but what's all that?" She then asked, pointing to the stack of unopened letters.

"Bills... unless you want that too." ..."That's cool with me." I laughed and headed up to our master bedroom.

Meek was being unusually nice to me. I was beginning to think he didn't like me the way he had been treating me the last couple of days.

Maybe he was slowly coming around. I wanted things to go nice and smooth when the baby arrives. I mean, Meek doesn't even act excited that we were expecting.

I don't think it was something I did. Even if it was, oh well. He meeds to accept it. He wouldn't dare leave me. I knew this for sure. And one of the main reasons was because child support is a bitch! I know he doesn't want those problems. I will milk him for everything he has. Let him try me.

But never mind that.. I was excited that I got a written letter back. This was our only eay of communication. If these letter stop coming in, I don't know what I would do. This is one way I get help to solving my problems.

I read over the letter and smiled. It was crazy how happy one piece of paper could make me. Meek wasn't getting suspicious, so I was still safe. I just have to make sure he doesn't go snooping. He's never home anyway. This will be easy.

I picked up my phone and began texting away:

(Text Message To):

Cee:
-I got another letter BITCH.

Moments later:

Cee: Oh really? Lol. Girl what did Meek say?

-Nothing. You know he's never at home.

Cee: You playin' with fire girl.

-Lmao. But just know in the end, I wont be the one getting burned.

||Uh ohhhh...👀 What's happening? Whose sending those letters? What is Lauren up to? Leave feedback. Ya'll know where. lmao. Tell me how ya'll liked this Chapter... please.
