Faye's looks down at the gun pointed to her stomach then up at her best friend.
"You're gonna shoot me?" Faye asks.
"Why shouldn't I??" Engfa asks with one brow raised, looking at Faye intensely in her eyes as she pushes the pressure of the gun more onto Faye. "Your people attacked us."
"Exactly. My people." Faye states, then shoves the gun away from her torso. "That wasn't under my orders."
Engfa scoffs.
"You expect me to believe you weren't behind that.""Yes." Faye bluntly says. "They all turned on me, Fa. Every last one of them, especially Oumbay."
Engfa's reluctant to believe a word coming out of her best friend's mouth. Faye's mafia wouldn't even dare to disobey her.
"It's hard to believe Oumbay would turn on you. He's like your brother." Engfa says as she puts her gun back in her waistband.
"I thought so too.."
Engfa sees how defeated Faye looks, but regardless Engfa never believes anyone so easily, especially when it's about betrayal.
Before they can continue their conversation, Meena and three of Engfa's security guards run out towards them recognizing Faye's back profile.
Noticing this Engfa just looks at Faye expressionless.
"You should run.. because I'm not buying your story. It's no fun if I catch you so easily." Engfa says.
This side of Engfa was hurting Faye. She seen her best friend be cold with many others, but never her.
Faye turns looking to see Engfa's people run towards them, instead of running away, she stays put looking at Engfa. They share eye contact until Faye hits the ground from being kicked behind the knee. Engfa moves out the way as Faye drops, looking down at who she thought was her best friend.
Meena with rage, punches Faye in the face then grabs her to stand up."I should put a bullet in your head right now." Meena whispers to Faye as she stands her up.
Faye just looks over at Engfa pleadingly.
"Just take her to my office. Don't make it obvious." Engfa orders.
Meena roughly grabs Faye's arm, then turns, pulling her towards the building.
Engfa follows behind, while looking around.Thankfully her property is more closed off than Area 51 or that scene would've been a red flag to many civilians.
They enter the building trying to make the situation seem normal, but many of the employees knew something was up as usual, especially considering Faye had a bruised spot forming on her face.
Charlotte watches as they pass by her, making eye contact with Engfa, but the CEO quickly diverts her focus forward.
Charlotte felt off, it's as if she could feel Engfa's anger and frustration.
"That right there, is one of the reasons they had us sign the contract." May says, approaching next to her. Charlotte doesn't say anything, but smiles with a tight lip. "Come. They're having us fitted for dresses."
Upstairs in Engfa office, Meena sits Faye down with force as Engfa leans at the edge of her desk with her arms crossed.
Security stays outside the door, giving privacy to Engfa, Faye, Meena, and Mint, who joined them while walking up.
