That odd sounds of a clock suddenly started to run through the mind of the brown haired woman who only ever wore a cute little pink sweater

For a brief moment it stopped just as suddenly as if the universe itself was giving her a moment to breathe to process some....recent events in her life

A few moments later and she opened her eyes only to find herself in...of all places she could have possibly woken up in, one of the staircases from her dream world

As she gained more awareness of her surroundings she was greeted with the familiar and oddly comforting sound of someone rubbing their hands on a metal pole

She turned around and was greeted with the sight of kyuukyuu kun gently rubbing the stairwell railing

The young lady thought nothing of it and started to walk up the stairs, just wanting to scare herself awake with the face that lies behind the door at the top of the stairs and be done with it after all she had seen...it... so many times that at this point it didn't really bother her anymore........or at least that's what she tells herself

However something weird happened when she was walking up the stairs

As her red shoes made contact with the metal steps the smiling ghost blob thing known as kyuukyuu kun suddenly stopped rubbing the metal railing and gave an odd look of confusion

Which caught her off guard, cuz for once it felt like it was acknowledging her and for some reason this felt extremely strange and a little anxious and made her wonder......why

After all this time why was kyuukyuu kun suddenly deciding to acknowledge her now of all times

And what was even stranger was that after a few brief moments kyuukyuu was suddenly smiling at her as he looks at her with doting eyes

It then started to rub it little tentacle esc nub on her brown hair as it said something in a very gargled blobish voice that was very alien to her

Kyuukyuu: i've missed you very much

She then decided to continue her way up the stairs choosing to write off kyuukyuu kun's wired behavior as an extremely rare event

Although she did take note of kyuukyuu kun's vary attentive gaze as she made her way up the stairs but it was probably just part of the event so she ignored until she made it to the top of the stairs

Once she was in front of the door she took a deep breath and started to reach out for the door knob only for kyuukyuu kun to suddenly wrap his colorful tentacle around the door preventing her from opening it

This only caused further confusion for her but she still tried to think nothing of it as she reached for the knife effect only to come to a very strange and concerning realization......

..........she didn't have it

She didn't have any of her effects on her, not a single one

Which was very strange after all how could she not have any effects on her, especially the one she normally needed in order to enter this area

While lost in her thoughts she turned and glanced at kyuukyuu kun who was giving her a very worried expression which quickly turned into a concerned smile as he placed nub on his cheek

This quickly gave her an idea as rose her hand up to her face and gave her own cheek a little......

*Squish*

For a brief moment the world around her seemed very blurry as she opened her eyes and saw the pure white color of roof above her that host various bright fluorescent lights that filled the room with a gentle buzzing sound that was both relaxing and dreadful

She slowly lifted her upper torso and scanned the room immediately taking note of the iv drip hooked up to her arm and the light blue glow that replaced her normal clothes

She then lays back down as she quickly came to the only logical conclusion there was

Madotsuki:.....huh......I guess it didn't work
