—Tong's ApartmentTong stared blankly at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, his mind replaying the events of the night before. His fingers traced his lips absentmindedly.
"Did he come last night?" he muttered to himself. There were no bruises on his body like the time Mark had bitten him, no visible signs of the vampire's presence.
"It should be fine," he sighed, stepping into the shower.
The warm water cascaded over him, but it did little to calm the growing storm in his mind. Images flashed behind his closed eyelids—Mark's lips on his, the taste of blood, the heat of their kiss. The memory of Mark's presence was intoxicating, and with it came a question: How do I lure him out?
The ringing of his phone interrupted his thoughts. Tong quickly grabbed it, answering without checking the caller ID.
"Yeah?"
"Tong, are you coming to the farewell party tonight?" a familiar voice asked.
"I'm not sure," Tong replied, hesitating. But the more he thought about it, the more his plan solidified in his mind. Mark had appeared the last time he was with Mia. Could he use that to draw him out again? "Actually... I think I'll come."
The words echoed in his mind—Mark's voice, low and commanding: "You'd better behave yourself from now on."
Tong frowned. "Will he get angry and come after me if I push him too far...?" A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. "Let's find out."
—Evening
Tong stood in front of the mirror once again, this time fully dressed and ready for the farewell dinner. He ran his fingers through his hair, his reflection exuding confidence, but inside, his nerves buzzed with anticipation. His plan was risky, but he was convinced Mark had been following him, lurking in the shadows. Tonight would prove it.

—Restaurant & Bar
The farewell party was in full swing, with laughter and clinking glasses filling the air. Tong found his classmates, who welcomed him with cheers. Drinks were poured, jokes were made, and the atmosphere was lively. Mia sidled up to him, a teasing grin on her face.
"Don't forget, you owe me one," she whispered, slipping her hand into his.
Tong allowed it, forcing himself to smile. He had no intention of letting things go any further, but he needed Mia as bait. He scanned the room, hoping Mark was watching, lurking somewhere nearby.
Mia dragged Tong onto the dance floor, their bodies swaying to the rhythm of the music. But even as they danced, Mark didn't show. Tong's frustration grew.
Unbeknownst to Tong, someone had slipped something into his drink—someone who had harbored unspoken feelings for him since their first year of college. That man had watched in silence as Tong dated others, never confessing his feelings. Now, with Tong single again and Mia drawing close, he seized his chance.
Tong returned to his seat, grabbing his glass and downing the drink without a second thought. A faint smile crept across the man's face.
It didn't take long for Tong to feel the effects. His body flushed, a burning heat spreading through him. He staggered to his feet, gripping the table for support.
"I... I need to go to the restroom," he muttered, his vision blurring.
"Are you alright?" Junior called after him, concern etched in his voice.
