Weeks passed

Aman was in charge of security at the house. He drove his half siblings back and forth from school.

One day, he waited for his half-sister at the school parking. But she didn't come to the parking lot. Then he enquired about her to the school's security. After sometime, he was informed that she is not inside the school building.

Aman called the landline and asked his mother whether the girl reached home and explained everything. But the other end went silent and then he could hear his mother's screams. He immediately rushed to his mother's house.

There she tried to contact her school friends. But no one knew nothing. They went to the school one again before going to the police station. The school authorities contacted the police.

She called her husband but he was busy to pick her call. Then she called her family who assured her that they would be there soon.

Aman wanted to hug his mother and console her but he is just a driver in his mother's eyes. She doesn't know him. He couldn't face his mother's grief. She was devastated by the news of her daughter. They registered the case and gave information about the incident.

Throughout the process, Aman stood by his mother and finally they found the girl in a railway station. The girl went missing on her own. Because she was scolded by a teacher and was asked to bring parents to school. The girl was extremely frightened by the thought of getting scolded by her parents especially her stepfather.

Mosaba hugged her daughter and cried. The girl apologised to her mother for making her cry.

Everything became okay after few hours of turmoil. The incident was a nightmare for Mosaba and Aman.

"Thank you" Mosaba thanked Aman for his help and support.

Tears flowed down Aman's cheeks.
"It's okay ammi"

Mosaba frowned at him and then smiled
"How old are you?"

"20"

She smiled again
"I have a son of your age."

Aman didn't said anything but he smiled at her.

It's been 4 months since Aman started living with his mother.

Mosaba still doesn't know that Aman is her son.

One day, Aman heard screams from the house. He recognised his mother's voice.

The moment he stepped inside the house, he saw his mother lying on the floor and her husband is standing near her with a belt in his hand.

"Ammiiii" Aman rushed to his mother's side.

Mosaba was brutally assaulted by shaoib. She cried on seeing Aman and somewhere inside her heart, she felt relieved.

Aman pushed Shaoib to the floor and sat near his mother. He tried to get her up but before he could do anything, shaoib started beating him.

Outraged by the attack on his mother, Aman quickly turned to Shaoib and began to beat him.

Shaoib couldn't resist the attack and at one point he was not able to defend himself.

There were staffs in the house premises but nobody stopped Aman as they also wanted shaoib to endure the pain that he often gives to Mosaba.

Mosaba curled up in a corner and she was dumbstruck by the sight of Aman beating her husband blue and black. She smiled with tear filled eyes.

For the first time ever in mosaba's life, someone was fighting for her. But her happiness stilled the moment when Aman shouted at Shaoib
"Don't you ever forget that she has a son- Aman Ahmed Khan. I'm here to protect my mother"

Mosaba stared at her newly found son.

Shaoib frowned at him and tightly closed his eyes.

Hospital

"Why?" Mosaba asked Aman

Aman looked at his mother painfully.
"I'm sorry but I couldn't control myself. Don't worry I will go away if you.."

Before he could complete his sentence, mosaba hugs her son and cries hard
"Please don't leave me beta..Please"

Aman was shocked by his mother's reaction. He thought that she would yell at him for interfering in her life.

The mother-son hugged each other and cried in silence.

"Why you didn't say this before? Why did you hide your identity?" Mosaba asked him softly.

"Because I was afraid ammi..I was afraid of getting rejected by you." Aman takes her palm and kisses on it.

"I'm sorry..I couldn't recognise you..I'm a bad mother" Mosaba cries

"No No ammi.." Aman consoled his mother.

He tells her about his father's death and how he spent his life in aunt's home afterwards. Also how he got to know about everything from his aunt and how he was deceived by his father's family..

Mosaba looked down and cried realising that her son knows about her dark past.

"Go away Aman" She said shocking him

Aman tried to hold her but she screams at him
"I'm not a good woman Aman. You will be ashamed of me and my past. It's better for you to leave my side."

Mosaba cried...

Aman closed his eyes and composed himself. Then he moved closer to his mother and forcefully hugs her
"I'm your son and you can't deny that, ammi. I won't leave your side ever."

She hugs him back and cries...

Aman gives strength to Mosaba to leave Shaoib's house.

Before shaoib got discharged from the hospital, Aman takes his mother and half siblings to her own house.

Mosaba's family was shocked to see her condition. Her injuries were still afresh. It was hard for them to believe that Shaoib is an abusive man. Moreover Aman's identity came off as another shock.

Aman announced that he would take his mother with him to UK and it's his responsibility to protect her. But he asked one year time period for making the arrangements. Even Mosaba was shocked by his decision. Her family refused to accept that but this time Mosaba took her son's side and said that she would go with him.
