65 million years ago, the Earth was a world of violence. Those who are weak kneeling and die. Only the strongest survive. That was the history of power. And the dinosaurs were the Demons. However, the Demon Lord Satan battled against God, ready to recreate the world in His image. However, the Demons fought back, creating a powerful war for control of the Earth. Finally, the five Demon Armies led by the Demon King Dante made a pact with God to send Satan and his 666 legions of Demons into the underworld and seal him there. With that he teamed up with Amon and defeated the Demon Lord himself, ending the old world and creating Earth. But the Demon Lord Satan wasn't so easily defeated, for he escaped and became a snake, offering the Fruit of Forbidden Knowledge of Good and Evil, and turning the Garden of Eden into a forbidden place, and from this way, it remained until Jesus Christ was born. So Dante and God made a plan to create humans known as Devils who battle against the Demons should the history of power begin anew.
And now, history has been revived...
It was the last day of middle school for Akira Fudo and he did his usual job: feeding the rabbits. However, when he got there, he found all the bunnies killed before his eyes, he checked the bunny pin to check if there were any bunnies left and he found his old friend...
Akira: Cottontail. At least you're safe old friend.
At the front school gate, Akira's childhood friend, Miki Makimura was ready to deliver Akira some news he had for him, and he decided to ask her friend Miko where he was.
Miko: Oh, he went over to the other side of school to feed the bunnies. Be careful, there were some nasty looking guys over there.
All of a sudden, three street thugs were trying to make Akira let go of Cottontail, but Akira was resilient, he put up a fight.
Street Thug #1: Alright, kid. Let go of the bunny and we'll let you go.
Street Thug #2: Yeah, let the rabbit go! Jack needs some more practice with his gun!
Akira decided to run for it, but before he could get up, Akira's hand was shot the moment he could break it.
Jack: Hey, y'know, rabbits aren't the only one I can use for target practice. So, you gonna hand us the rabbit?
Akira: You don't wanna mess with me! I can't give you Cottontail. I— I just can't.
Jack noticed something in his eyes what Akira truly was and didn't want to unleash his inner form, but his friends didn't care one bit.
Street Thug #2: Yes, you ******* can!
Street Thug #3: Don't worry. I'll make him give up the rabbit.
Akira just shook his head, his will not breaking, which tempered the big street thug.
Street Thug #3: Hey, y'know, you're not brave, you're just ******* stupid. I'm gonna have to knock some sense in yer noggin.
Suddenly, the big street thug lashed out a chain whip to make a point with him, scaring the slim street thug.
Street Thug #2: Ya better do what he says. He's crazy enough to kill ya!
Akira said two words that let anyone know of his unbreaking will:
Akira: **** you!
And with that, the street thug was angry with what he said, but before Akira could run away, the third street thug whipped him on the forehead, but Jack knew what Akira was and stopped him before he could whip him again.
Jack: Stop it, man! It's not worth it! Hey, kid. I know what you are, okay? The reason is within your eyes and guts to save a life. Y'know, we'll leave the rabbit alone.
Street Thug #2: Akira's busy talking shop! So just be patient!
Miki: Huh? Akira!
Jack: We're leaving. There are other places for target practice. Hey, kid. Rely on your pure heart. Don't let the power consume you.
Just as the thugs left, Akira was left speechless as to what the street thug, Jack said. But Miki stopped his train of thought.
Miki: Akira! You're bleeding!
In the nurse's office, Miki was getting a first-aid kit to treat Akira's wounds.
Miki: Alright, Akira. Let me see your forehead.
Akira: Miki, c'mon. I'm not cut.
However, Miki let Akira look in the mirror, seeing the cut on his forehead. After that, he sat back down for Miki to treat his wounds.
Akira: I'm sorry, Miki. Y'know, ever since my parents died, bad luck has been a friend of mine wherever I go.
Miki: That's not true. I'm your beatest friend in the world, unless you consider me bad luck.
Akira laughed when Miki said that, taking back what he said. Finally, they went for the walk home, but halfway, Miki was ready to deliver the news Akira needed to hear.
Miki: Hey, Akira! I'm heading to Kuoh Academy, the school that was just for girls before they went co-ed! It's always been my dream to go there, and now I get to!
Akira: I-I'm happy for you.
Miki: Aw, don't cry, Akira. You might be able to make it to Kuoh Academy, love the dream like me! See ya at home!
As Miki left, Akira w as ready to follow until he heard a voice calling to him.
Akira! Akira Fudo!
And from out of the shadows came Akira's old friend, Ryo Utsugi, the modern day Dante, from whom Akira knew as the battler of demons.
Akira: Oh, Ryo! How are you?! Where have you been?! What are you doing here?!
Ryo: There's no time. We gotta go now.
Akira: Wait. You want me to come with you?! But I promised Miki I'd be at home! Besides, I'll miss dinner! I'll go hungry! Look I just need to contact Miki to let her know I'm coming home late!
Ryo: Time is of the essence! We need to leave now!
?: U-um, Mr. Akira? Would you like to go on a date with me?
Akira: Wh-what are you saying?
?: I'm saying... would you like to be m—
Suddenly, Ryo knocked her out cold with a knife's handle.
Ryo: She's a powerful enemy. We need to leave now.
As they got a car, Akira saw the girl sprout wings, scaring the kid.
Akira: Who was that girl?! Is she some sort of demon?!
Ryo: A fallen angel, Akira. Sent to kill you, most likely. Listen, my sister, Saori was attacked by satanists, signaling the arrival of a powerful enemy. I just discovered that Saori was kidnapped, forcing my father to tell me what I am.
*flashback*
In a church, where Mr. Utsugi and Ryo met.
Mr. Utsugi: Son, what I'm about to tell you will determine the human race: you are a Demon King who allied himself with God to defeat evil incarnate: Demon Lord Satan. As the Demon King Dante, you are the strongest Demon King. Ryo, save your sister, trick the satanists, and raise the Devilman Army.
Ryo: Okay, father. I'll rescue Saori.
Mr. Utsugi: Children of God! This is Ryo Utsugi! He is our Demon King Dante! We shall pave a way for both Ryo's army and the Sacred Gear Wielders! Assist Ryo with his mission! find the Sacred Gear Wielders! Recruit many Allie's as you can! Eliminate the Satanists!
Ryo: *voiceover* And so, I carried my mission, and then, my memories returned to me.
Ryo: AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
*end flashback*
What cny father said was true, and that was the night God spoke to me to gather the Devilman Corps to fight the threat of Demon Lord Satan. But he also gave humanity the tools that'll help them even the odds: the Sacred Gears. Akira, you are a Devilman. Codename: Amon. I want you to be in my Devilman Corps.
