To the casual viewer, it would appear that the passenger in 2C was asleep.   The closed eyes and relaxed face gave off peaceful vibes.  What no one could see was how that passengers heart was pounding or how he spun the ring around his finger.

Mew took a deep breath to calm his racing heart.  He didn't know why he was so nervous.  They had about 30 more minutes before landing.  With the disembarking and luggage collection process, he told Jeep to pick him up in 45 minutes.  Jeep was the person who knew where Mew was.  Mew was thankful Jeep was willing to drive all the way to Chiang Mai to pick him up from CNX.  Mew wanted to avoid BKK incase any celebs were leaving or arriving.  He wasn't ready for people to know that he was back.

It had been a little more than a year since he left Thailand.  Part of the reason he was nervous was because he didn't know how people would react.  Would they still care about him?  Mew also wasn't sure what to do about the future.  He enjoyed not being in the spotlight and getting to live a "normal" life.  He did miss acting and performing, but also enjoyed focusing on engineering.

Mew sighed.  He didn't need to stress about this right now.  He had time to decide his future as he planned to undergo a temporary ordination first.  Mew figured this would give him more clarity about his future.

Working on his PhD was easy for him.  What Mew had found difficult during his time away was working on himself.  He had found a therapist and took an honest, hard look at himself.  Talking with a neutral person had been beneficial.  There were things about himself he worked hard to change.  The biggest breakthrough had been the realization that he hadn't really been in love with Tul.  He found him attractive, yes.  But Mew had been in love with the idea of being in love.  Once he realized that, he felt a sense of relief.  It meant he could really go back to being friends with Tul like how it was before.

Mew was nervous that being back home would cause him to revert to his old ways and he really didn't want to go back to how he was before.

Mew took another deep breath and opened his eyes.  They had just landed.  It was time for a new chapter in his life to begin.
