School?Purple's POV:
Buddy finally returns after I don't even know how long, not that he was missed. 'Cause he wasn't, I'd rather have Joseph around, he can cook, he cleans, he's not brutally honest, he's nice, and he's something nice to look at.
When Buddy came back Joseph made a big meal to celebrate, cleaned everything up afterwards and basically handled everything while Buddy got some rest. Apparently he had some trouble with Tiger. Joseph stayed with us a couple weeks taking care of everything, and forcing Buddy to take it easy because of his shoulder.
The days to come after that were pretty normal, Buddy was on my nerves, apparently I was on his, Jade gained access to a library and became a book nerd, and Exandria is now so focused on herself I don't think she'll ever have any need for a male.
Since the crystal was safe now and nothing unusual was happening in Pettown, even the next years after that were nice. . .
. . .
. . . . .
Ok scratch that, there was some serious crap that went down. First off, after some weeks of living my best life, Pecks comes at me with this school crap. Yeah, you read right, school.
Apparently being fifteen means you're freshman age, me and my sisters are technically all the same age. Though Tiny acts younger than she is, sometimes Rose does too. It's a little unusual, nowadays since being born in a litter more than three pups strong doesn't happen often anymore. Jade and Exandria are also the same age. Makes me wonder if our parents planned this or something.
Neither of us have ever been to school, we learned everything we know from that Saint Bernard.
Joseph and Buddy were apparently sophomores, and I even found out Fluffy was a junior. The whole reason we weren't already in school is because it was summer break. If not being in school is considered a break, then my whole life before Pettown was a vacation.
After deciding to get over the whole school idea, since I had no choice, I started to mentally prepare myself. For about a week that is, but nothing could've prepared me, or anyone else, for the serious crap that went down.
The first problem that occurred was the fact that two of my sisters, Winnie and Rose, decided they wanted to go to school in the city. Not exactly sure when, but they somehow decided going to school in the city would be better. Which isn't that odd since there's now a railroad track that comes to Pettown then back through the city. The station was completed during our "summer break".
Apparently there's animals who feel like Pettown's ridiculously large, high tech school is a better option than the schools near them. I for one would not ride a train forever just to go to a school, especially if there's one closer. Are they really that stupid?
I obviously fussed at my sisters for leaving the rest of us behind to go to school in the city, it's probably not even any better. After fussing at them for longer than I really needed to, I decided to let them go.
It wasn't long before the first day came, which wasn't as bad as you'd think. It was fun, though there were too many rules and I kept getting in trouble for leaving to go to the bathroom. They didn't really expect me to raise my paw, wait, and ask, did they? If I definitely had to, I'd do it in the classroom. I'm shameless, I don't give a crap where I am, if I gotta go, I gotta go.
