After finishing the challenge, Bazohai and Gabil were both feeling exhausted."Let's sleep, I'm tired. And hungry," Bazohai sighed, her energy levels depleted.
Gabil agreed, nodding wearily. They noticed a row of dorms along the hallway, but to their disappointment, only two of the rooms were spacious enough to accommodate two people each.
As she navigated the kitchen, Bazohai let out an internal groan. Why couldn't they have allocated two girls and two guys to each room?
She focused her attention on preparing her food, appreciating the fact that there were two spacious bedrooms available.
Once her sandwich was ready, Bazohai felt the effects of hunger deeply, as if she hadn't eaten in days. She began devouring her food hurriedly, savoring every bite.
In her room, Bazohai found comfort beneath the soft sheets of her bed. Within a matter of minutes, she was drifting off, her exhaustion lulling her into a peaceful slumber.
When Bazohai's eyes fluttered open, she was greeted by the sight of Gabil beside her.
"Good morning!" he cheerfully greeted, a warm smile on his face.
Bazohai replied groggily, her voice still tinged with sleep. "Yeah... Good morning..." She sat up slowly, a yawn escaping her as she stretched her weary muscles.
Gabil guided Bazohai towards the kitchen, where he pointed out a plate of turkey bacon and cheese waiting on the table. "I made you breakfast. I already ate mine," he said.
Bazohai's eyes widened in surprise and appreciation, her stomach rumbling as the aroma of food wafted through the room. "You did?" she asked, a grateful smile spreading across her face.
"Yeah!" Gabil responded cheerily, pulling out a chair for Bazohai as she took a seat.
Bazohai smiled gratefully, unable to bow while sitting. She savored a bite of the breakfast and exclaimed, "Thank you! It's good!" She continued to eat hungrily.
Just then, a knock echoed through the room. Thurvishar and Dena stood at the door, their arrival interrupting the moment.
"Hi!" Dena greeted them with a warm smile. Her eyes darted to the breakfast on the table. "Y'all having breakfast?"
Thurvishar grumbled, his voice a low murmur. "This early bird woke me up around 5," he mumbled. Dena elbowed him gently, a hint of annoyance in her expression.
Bazohai chuckled softly, acknowledging his comment. "5? That's really early," she teased, a playful glimmer in her eyes.
Thurvishar groggily grumbled, "Yeah, I'm so darn tired." He directed his gripe at Dena. "Why did you wake me at 5? I told you not to do that."
Dena chuckled, her smile widening. "I don't know. I'm just an 'early bird,'" she replied playfully.
Bazohai observed their banter with amusement, silently noting their couple-like dynamic.
Bazohai chimed in, her curiosity piqued. "I hope this isn't rude, but how old are you two?"
Dena answered, her voice cheerful. "I'm 19." She added a reassurance, "It's not rude at all!"
Thurvishar calmly shared his age, speaking matter-of-factly. "24." He offered the information casually, without any hint of embarrassment or hesitation.
Only five years apart? Bazohai mused silently in her mind.
"Okay!" she said aloud, a smile on her face. "To clarify, I'm 21, and Gabil is 22." Bazohai shared their ages with the others.
