Anaya's pov
"Some pink blush on the cheeks....and done!" I took a sigh of relief.
"Finally my painti--Oh shit, I forgot to draw her red ribbons" Just as I thought my painting was ready, my attention went to her hair, which did not have any ribbon in it.
Agh. I've been drawing this for the last three hours and it's still not complete and now I don't have a single ATP left to draw the ribbons.
Let's take a break.
I went to the kitchen, took out the chocolates from the fridge and started eating it happily while sitting in the living room.
Just then I remembered that my unemployed brother who is of no use, Advik, is at home and if he sees me eating his chocolates then he will start screaming like a dinosaur, before something like this happens I should go to my room.
I came to my room, sat comfortably on the sofa, eating delicious chocolates and scrolling through the reels on Instagram, when suddenly I get a call.
Just when I thought that I can finally enjoy myself alone, the ringing of my phone woke me up from my relaxation zone.
I look at my phone to see who is it.
It's Shikha. My College friend.
As soon as I picked it up I could hear the whisperings of around four to five people. I couldn't make out clearly who was saying what, but one thing I was sure of that it was a conference call and this call was made so that they could make some plans to go out or have a party.
We all are on leave from last two weeks or we can say we are sitting at home waiting for our results or degree. Some of my friends had gone to their villages to meet their parents and some are enjoying themselves by going to clubs every day. As for me, I am just sitting at home and drawing a painting every day. It sounds boring but trust me, when you start drawing it, it will be a lot of fun.
Well, going out enjoying with friends sounds fun. This way my mood will get freshened up a bit, I am also getting a little bored at home.
"Have you connected everyone, Shikha?" One of the person on the call asked.
"Ah, noo, Kiaan is not picking up the phone, only he is left" Shikha replied.
Kiaan not picking up the phone is nothing new. He never picks up anyone's phone on time.
He is such a reckless brat.
"Oh he is not picking up the phone...how about Anaya will call him, he will definitely pick up his girlfriend's call, right!?" Another person on the conference said it in a way that made me choke.
I still can't get used to this 'girlfriend' title, even after three years of officially dating him.
Yupp. Me and Kiaan, have been in a relationship since last three years.
Eww, how stupid this sentence sounds.
Well let me fix it.
Me and Kiaan, have been playing boyfriend-girlfriend since last three years. Yeah you read it right. This is all a game because in reality we don't even love each other, dating is a far cry.
"No, he must be busy that's why he is not picking up the phone, let us start our discussion, I will tell him about the--"
"No no, no excuses, we just have to see whether he picks up your call or not" Just as I was about to avoid calling him, a friend cut my sentence and said.
