Your time on Pabu came to a rushing end after you stopped the tsunami threatening the island by channeling the force. The goodbyes had been somewhat emotional, but you were swiftly off the planets surface before sunset on the same day. It felt rushed, but after the shift in the force you had just caused, the ripple sent out into the galaxy was likely to draw the wrong kind of attention. The Mayor had wished you all well, Lyana had given Omega a particularly long hug with plenty of tears and Phee shook everyone's hands with a final wink at Tech that you pretended not to see.

Among your own group you made sure to hug Echo and Rex goodbye before they set out in the Remora, thanking them one last time for rescuing you off Toola. Veraxsis also received a hug from you and Omega, and departed with a final comment; "Let me know when you are ready to show me. I will be waiting".

You knew Veraxsis was referring to the memory of Davids death that lived on in the back of your mind and you had nodded quietly before returning to your ship. Veraxsis's yellow eyes watched you closely, and he gave a final parting nod of approval in Tech's direction and a glare towards Phee before departing on board Svoboda.

With all of your goodbyes said, and the Mayor aptly informed about the possibility of inquisitors each of your ships flew off into the sky. You made your way directly to the back, finding your bunk, and then laying down on it for an entire cycle. Hunter remained up front with Tech to fly, and Crosshair floated between them and Wrecker working with Omega in the back. Omega had successfully weaved a small basket before leaving Pabu and she was having a great time figuring out what to put into it with Wrecker in the middle area.

This time you fell into a deeper sleep then before. It had been comfortable to rest on Tech's shoulder but you had only regained enough energy to get up all those stairs back to the landing pad on the hilltop of Pabu. Now with your ship on course and everyone on board you were able to just sleep, and you rested deeply, seeing nothing but blackness in your dreams, and the distant sound of footsteps and shouting.

While you slept through the first cycle rotation Tech got the ship on route to your next planet before going over cycle tasks and assigning them to the new adjusted numbers on board. There wasn't much to do, but any type of assignment helped keep the ship in good repair and stave off boredom so it was necessary.

When you woke up and pulled yourself together you were informed of your tasks and traded out places with Hunter who came back to sleep. Omega was also on a sleep rotation this cycle, although you noticed she was still engrossed in whatever she was reading. Wrecker and Crosshair were working on cleaning weapons in the middle of the ship. The reasoning had been to make sure everything was in working order, but you also saw Crosshair carefully cleaning and disassembling a sniper rifle you hadn't seen before. No doubt it was his, and had been tucked away in storage overhead. That, or it was the rifle you hadn't been using with a significantly longer barrel attachment. Crosshair was zoned into his work and Wrecker was happily cracking jokes and talking about some recent adventure as you carefully stepped around them to get to the front where most of your tasks where assigned.

--probably on purpose-- you chuckled to yourself. Tech had a habit of assigning you to work nearby.

You made your way up to the front and saw your fiance in his usual chair, looking handsome as ever. As you walked up he turned and looked at you, his face neutral but expressing a positive reaction to your presence.

"I see you have changed over into the next cycle." Tech commented "Was your rest adequate?"

"I definitely needed the sleep" you smile at him, his brown eyes watching your face through his goggles. You leaned over and kissed his forehead lovingly "But I'm recovered and ready to go".
