My day is going to be like hell.
OMG I have to call Marie to tell her that I'm meeting Matteo today. She will probably say " I heard that he's hot" or something like " can I be your bridesmaid ?"
Anyway, I wake up in a bad mood, like always, my brother would say. I didn't sleep well last night 'cause I've been thinking about the unfortunate situation I'm in. I still don't understand why my father made this deal with Matteo Scapelli. I hate him so much, i don't even now him . Dante and him are like enemies so he knows more about him then i do, i'll probably just go ask him for some informations after my breakfast. I go down the stairs and see my father on the phone yelling at the interlocutor, poor person really. I make my way to the kitchen to see Annie, our maid who was also me and Dante's nanny when mom died. I love her so much. I sat down in one of the chairs and said
Marlena-" Hey Annie how are you ? "
Annie-" i'm good sweetheart, and you? How did you sleep ? Did you see your brother ? "
she asked as she put a plate of eggs, bacon and potatoes in front of me.
Marlena-" I'm good thanks, i didn't really slept and the last time i saw Dante was last night "
I said as i begun eating. Annie looked at me with worry and love in her eyes, she always act like a mother towards us, but she would never ever want to take our mother's place.
Annie-" Do you know whats happening in this house sweetheart ? Everybody, including you, just seem so tense . "
Just as i was about to answer her, my father and brother came into the kitchen. Dante sat down next to me and muttered a little hello to me and Annie. Then my father spoke up,
Giovanni-" Marlena is getting an arranged marriage with Matteo Scapelli . "" he's coming tonight to meet her. " My father said the most casual way possible. Annie's eyes widened in fear and she just nodded her head.
Giovanni-" Kids, its already 3 oclock and Matteo is coming at 5 so i suggest you to start getting ready." he said then left . after like 3 seconds i realized that i had woken up really late, and that i only have 2 hours to get ready .
i then almost threw my plat at Annie and made my way upstairs. When i arrived i immediately got undressed and hurried myself in the shower. the hot water immediately hit my skin and i felt like all my problems just flew away. I then started thinking about Matteo. Fuck! I forgot to ask Dante about him, oh well we'll see.
after my shower i got in my walk-in closet and started to look for an appropriate dress.
