The situation after Pond confessed to Win was full of silence. Pond was expecting an answer that has no hope . Win hesitated and felt uncomfortable. Pond again asked with a hopefully face " Win , Be my boyfriend. "

" well....i...umm..don't know how to say but i don't.... " Win was going to give an answer but Pond already knew the answer and stopped him .

" You don't have to give me an answer now . Take your time ."

In the meantime, Bright found them and went inside the bar . He grabbed Win's hand and take him to the hotel , Win wanted to stop him but he didn't listen to anything.

After reaching the hotel,

The hotel room was filled with an almost oppressive silence. Win shifted uncomfortably near the window, feeling the weight of Bright's stare even though his boss hadn't said a word since they arrived. The evening had spiraled out of control so quickly, leaving Win confused and unsure of where he stood. Pond's confession, Bright dragging him out of the bar without explanation, and now this-whatever this was.

Bright sat at the edge of the bed, his back rigid, fists clenched tightly in his lap. Win had seen Bright frustrated before, but this was different-deeper. The tension hung thick in the air, and for the first time, Win didn't know how to break it."Boss" Win started, his voice tentative, "are you upset with me?"Bright's head snapped up, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Upset?" he repeated, his voice laced with frustration. "Why wouldn't I be?"Win blinked, genuinely lost. "I don't understand.""You don't understand?"

Bright stood, running a hand through his hair in agitation. "Pond confessed to you, Win. And you didn't say a damn thing."Win frowned, replaying the scene in his mind. "But... I didn't accept it either. I didn't say anything because I was shocked.""And that's exactly the problem!" Bright paced in front of the bed, clearly struggling to keep his emotions in check. "You didn't reject him. You just let him think-""Think what?" Win interrupted, finally stepping forward. "That I'm interested? Because I'm not, Bright. Pond and I... it's nothing. I just didn't know how to react."Bright paused, his shoulders tense. "You didn't know how to react?" His voice softened, but there was still an edge of hurt in it. "Do you even realize how it felt to stand there and watch him confess to you? You know that he is my rival ."Win's eyes widened, something clicking in his mind. Bright wasn't just angry. He was hurt. He had been watching the whole time, and Win hadn't considered how it might have looked to him."I didn't think it mattered," Win said quietly. "Pond's feelings don't mean anything to me."Bright stopped pacing, turning to face him, his eyes hard. "But it matters to me, Win. Because he thought he could take what wasn't his to begin with."Win stared at Bright, his breath catching slightly at the intensity of his words. "What do you mean?" Win asked, his voice softer now, almost afraid of the answer.

Bright hesitated for a moment, as if weighing his next words carefully. "You're my assistant, Win. You work with me, for me, and Pond... he thought he could just come in and-" Bright broke off, frustrated, his hands clenched into fists at his sides.Win felt something stir in his chest, a strange warmth at the protectiveness in Bright's tone. He had never seen Bright this possessive before. But at the same time, something felt unspoken between them-something that wasn't just about work."I'm still your assistant," Win said gently, trying to break the tension. "And that hasn't changed just because Pond said some things. Nothing has changed."Bright looked at him, his expression unreadable, as if he was battling with himself. "Hasn't it?"Win blinked. "What do you mean?"For a moment, Bright didn't answer. The silence between them stretched until it was almost unbearable. Then, with a heavy sigh, Bright shook his head. "Forget it," he muttered, turning away from Win, running a hand over his face in frustration. "Just... forget it."Win took a step closer, wanting to reach out but unsure if he should. There was so much unsaid between them, so much tension that neither of them seemed ready to confront. And maybe now wasn't the time. Maybe it was too soon, too raw.

But one thing was clear: Bright wasn't angry just because of Pond. This went deeper than that. And Win wasn't sure what to do with that realization."I didn't want to hurt you," Win said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't think it mattered because... because it's you. You're the one I work with, the one I..." He trailed off, unsure how to finish the sentence.Bright's shoulders tensed, but he didn't turn around. For a moment, Win thought he wouldn't say anything at all. But then, in a voice so low it was almost lost in the space between them, Bright spoke."It matters more than you think."Win's heart skipped a beat. The weight of those words hung in the air, heavy and full of meaning that neither of them seemed ready to confront. He wanted to say something-anything-to ease the tension, to break through the wall that seemed to have formed between them. But instead, he stayed silent. And Bright didn't push further. The distance between them felt like a chasm, even though they stood only a few feet apart. Win didn't know how to bridge it, not yet.

But the unspoken feelings lingered in the air, unresolved but undeniable. As Win moved back to the window, he stole one last glance at Bright. His boss still stood facing away, the weight of the night pressing down on him. And though neither of them spoke, Win knew this conversation wasn't over. It was just the beginning of something they both hadn't fully understood yet.For now, the moment passed. But they both knew-sooner or later, circumstances would force them to face it.
