One way or another..

'A new objective'

After being informed of what was to do with me, I couldn't help but internally groan. Why the hell did it have to be me? The submarine shook and trembled as we entered the deeper waters, getting closer and closer to Blacksite by every passing second. In the silence, I couldn't help but peer around to see the Expandable's that I was now a 'team' with staring at my strange features, but as soon as they noticed they were caught, they turned their heads away.

A small chuckle escaped my lips as I shook my head, letting my lower body stretch out as the tip of my fin smacked the other side of the submarine. Oops... seconds ticked by like hours, and it felt like hell would freeze over before we could even get halfway there, but alas, after an eternity of waiting, the submarine stilled and the back door lowered itself as a bridge. With me being the closest to the door, I ofcourse was the first to climb out. My multiple legs connected to my snake like lower body pattering softly against the hard flooring.

"So uh... how do we do this?" One out of the 3 Expandable's called in a slightly shaky tone. I hummed softly, already moving to a set of large boxes and pointing Under one. "Crawl through there and get the keycard. As soon as we unlock that first door I need everyone to stay on high alert. I'll tell you what to avoid as we move on" I huffed, my voice a little croaky from the lack of talking.

With an uneasy look, a female one with brunette hair in a plait and green eyes moves forward and retrieved the keycard, crawling out of the space before moving to the locked door, I followed closely behind, the other Two reluctantly trailing behind.

We walk through the empty room, having to stop every single time for about an extra 5-10 seconds waiting on the Expandable's to gather data, files ect. By the time we had gotten to the 15th door I was already sick of it, but as I opened my mouth to speak a few of the lights in the room flickered. The Expandable's, seeming to not have noticed were already making their way to the next door. In the distance a small screaming noise was coming closer, the sound of lights smashing also entering my ears. Out of slight panic I moved forward and shoved them each into Lockers, each expandable had a look of surprise on their face as I did, since I was too big to fit into one I moved into a side room, hiding behind the door and waiting for the screeching sound to pass.

As I exited the room, I glanced around to notice one expandable had gotten out of the locker. Pity... I stare at their lifeless body on the floor for a moment, their face pale and their lips blue. I went to the leftover lockers where I had shoved the other 2 in, peering inside softly. "What in the hell was that?!" A male with blond short hair questioned, panic and fear obvious in his tone. Next to him was the girl with brown hair, her name tag read 'Natalie' while the males read 'Austin'. Such funny names...
