The Malhotra Mansion stood resplendent in the morning light, its grandeur reflecting the promise of a new chapter. Inside, the air was thick with excitement and nervous anticipation. Rudra arrived with his family: his parents, Anjana and Harsh, his siblings, Shivina and Aditya, and his sister-in-law, Zoya. The soft sound of laughter and chatter filled the spacious foyer as they entered, their hearts set on a momentous occasion.

As they crossed the threshold, Rudra felt a mixture of nerves and exhilaration. Today, they were here to formally ask for Maya's hand in marriage. He glanced at his family, who were equally invested in this moment. Anjana wore a warm smile, her eyes sparkling with pride. Harsh stood beside her, exuding a calm assurance. Aditya and Zoya exchanged supportive glances, while Shivina, a mix of hope and apprehension, lingered near her brother.

The living room was a vision of elegance. Delicate floral arrangements adorned the tables, and soft music played in the background. Maya stood in the center of the room, resplendent in a pastel lehenga, her beauty captivating everyone present. Her long hair flowed elegantly, framing her face, and her eyes sparkled with anticipation. Beside her stood her brothers, Ansh and Kabir, embodying a protective aura, while their mother, Jhanvi, looked on with pride.

Rudra took a deep breath as he approached Maya, his heart racing. He noticed her brothers' expressions—Ansh's protective gaze softened slightly, while Kabir flashed a reassuring smile.

"Maya, you're here!" Rudra exclaimed, his voice a mix of joy and nervousness.

"Of course. Wouldn't miss this for the world," Maya replied, her smile lighting up the room.

Anjana stepped forward, taking the lead with grace. "Jhanvi, it's wonderful to see you again. Thank you for welcoming us."

"It's always a pleasure, Anjana. Today is a special day, isn't it?" Jhanvi replied, her smile warm.

Anjana nodded, her voice steady yet filled with emotion. "Yes, we're here to discuss something close to our hearts. Rudra has found someone very special, and we believe it's time to take the next step."

Maya's heart raced at Anjana's words. She exchanged a glance with her brothers, who stood by her side, ready to support her.

Aditya stepped in. "We've all seen how happy Rudra and Maya make each other. They complement one another beautifully."

Rudra took a moment to gather his thoughts, his gaze never leaving Maya's. "Maya, I've been thinking about this for a while now. From the moment we met, I felt a connection with you that I've never felt before. I admire your strength, your kindness, and the way you light up every room you enter."

Shivina felt a pang of longing as she watched Ansh, who was visibly moved by Rudra's words. Their families had always been intertwined, yet the barriers of circumstance had kept them apart.

Kabir stepped forward, his demeanor supportive. "Maya deserves the best, and if anyone can give her that, it's Rudra."

Zoya nodded in agreement. "Absolutely! Love and respect are what truly matter in a relationship, and I see that between you both."

Maya blushed at the compliments, her heart swelling with emotion. "Thank you, everyone. You all have been so supportive."

Anjana took a step closer, her expression gentle yet serious. "Jhanvi, our families have shared a long history. We've seen our children grow, and now it's time to unite them in a bond of love. Rudra has expressed his desire to marry Maya, and as his parents, we wholeheartedly support this."

Jhanvi smiled warmly, her heart full of pride. "Maya is my daughter, and I want nothing but her happiness. If Rudra truly loves her and will cherish her, then I welcome this union."
