( Just to clarify, all the stuff that's in these things '[[,]]' are memories/flashbacks)

~later that night~

Ciel had been sitting awake in his bed for about thirty minutes now. He was awoken by the loud storm that rolled in after he had gone to sleep, but the thought of Alois was what was keeping him awake. He couldn't stop thinking about it. What if the blonde was awake in his room right now, or what if he was never going to wake up at all. All of the thoughts in his head were just killing him on the inside. He had to see him.
Ciel sighed and pulled all of the blankets off of him, sitting up and stretching a little. Once he got to his feet he made his way to Alois' room which, to his request, was right next to his. He opened the door slowly, the lightning from the widow illuminating his figure at he walked towards the bed. And there lay Alois, quiet and lifeless. The only thing that seemed living about him anymore was his breath. Ciel sat down next to the blonde, leaning over and stroking his hair gently. He could have swore he saw Alois' lips curl into a small smile, but perhaps it was just his imagination.
"You hated thunder storms like this, but yet you seem so peaceful." Ciel stated quietly, his fingers raking through the soft, blonde hair. The bluennet sighed as memories of Alois began to flood his mind-

>Two Months Earlier<

[[It was about 1 in the morning, Ciel had stayed the night at the Trancy Manor after a ball he had attended. He lay there, wide awake; no one could have slept through such a violent storm. He sighed, about to roll over and try to get some sleep when he heard a strange noise. Whimpering? It seemed to be coming from the room next to him. He let out a small, frustrated sigh as he sat up, pulling the blankets off of him and standing up. He walked out the door, then walking to the room next to his, not bothering to knock as he opened the door. And on the bed sat a shaking blonde, his knees to his chest and his face buried into them.
"C-Claude...?" Alois managed to get out, not bothering to look up.
"No, it's me." The bluennet stated quietly, walking towards the bed. Alois looked up, surprised at the voice he heard.
"Wait...C-Ciel?"
"I came to see what you were crying about, you were being rather loud and I'd like to get some sleep." The bluennet said coldly, sitting down on the bed next to the shaking blonde.
"Well..uh...I-I~" Alois was cut off by a loud boom of thunder, causing him to jump and whimper softly. Ciel sighed in annoyance.
"Please tell me your not afraid of thunder stor~" This time Ciel was cut off, but this boom of thunder a lot louder than the last. Alois gasped and through himself at the bluennet, now sitting in his lap; his arms wrapped around Ciel tightly and his head buried in his the smaller boy's chest. Alois cried softly, nuzzling into the bluennet and hugging him tightly.
"Ciel please....M-Make it go away..." Alois whimpered quietly, tears running down his cheeks. Ciel tensed up a bit, his eyes wide; he wasn't very good in these situations. He just rested a hand on the blonde's back, the other beginning to stroke his hair lightly.
"Just shut up and get some sleep, alright?" The bluennet whispered calmingly, resting his chin on top of Alois' head. After a few minutes, the blonde had begun to calm down. His body had stopped shaking and his crying had come to a stop. He gave a small smile, nuzzling into the bluennet gently. But of course, it didn't last for very long. Another crash of thunder boomed through the mansion, causing Alois to tighten his grip on Ciel and begin to shake again.
"Shh...Its alright..." Ciel cooed quietly, running a hand up and down the blonde's back. "Just relax..." Alois gave a small nod, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths. He yawned softly, his shaking coming to a stop as he nuzzled into Ciel gently. At this point, Alois had drifted off the sleep. The bluennet sighed softly to himself, slowly and carefully prying the blonde off of him. Ciel laid him down, covering him with the blankets as he watched the blonde. He had to admit, Alois was kind of cute when he wasn't being hyper and annoying. Ciel stood up straight and let out a small yawn, walking to the door, reaching for the doorknob and-
"Ciel, wait..."
The bluennet jumped a little at the voice, expecting for the blonde to still be asleep.
"What is it...?" Ciel asked tiredly, rubbing his eyes as he looked back at Alois, who was now sitting up.
"Could you stay here with me, j-just for tonight..." The blonde whispered nervously, looking down at his hands.
"Alois, I ca~"
"Ciel....P-Please..."
Ciel stood there for a few moments, then sighing to himself in annoyance.
"Idiot..." He whispered under his breath as he walked back towards the bed. He lifted up the blankets and laid down, covering himself up and shifting around a little; his back facing the blonde. He felt almost every muscle in his body tense up as a pair of slender arms wrapped around him from behind.
"A-Alois-"
"Just get some sleep..." The blonde whispered sweetly, holding the bluennet close and nuzzling into the crook of his neck. Ciel felt a deep blush make its way to his cheeks as he shifted around nervously; too tired to try and pry the blonde off of him. Alois just lay there with a small smile, cuddling the bluennet lightly. "It's alright, just relax, okay?" He whispered calmingly, beginning to stroke Ciel's hair gently; still leaving an arm draped around the smaller boy's body. Ciel sighed shakily, slowly letting his muscles relax as he leaned into the touch. The bluennet let out a soft yawn, closing his eyes and soon falling asleep.
Alois on the other hand, stayed up for a long while after Ciel had fallen asleep. He enjoyed the warm feeling of the bluennet's body close to his; they're body's fitting together almost perfectly. He was a little taken by surprise when Ciel began to sift around. He'd move one way, then the other, seeming as though he couldn't get comfortable.
Alois sighed in content, raking his fingers through the smaller boy's hair; a light smile planted on the blonde's face. Ciel suddenly turned towards the blonde, nuzzling into his chest with a tiny smile; causing a blush to form onto Alois cheeks. He giggled quietly, then letting out a soft yawn; keeping the smaller boy close to him and closing his eyes, slowly drifting off into a peaceful sleep.]]

Ciel chuckled softly at the thought; lightning from outside illuminating the room. "I never thought I'd say it....but, I miss you, Trancy..." He whispered, taking the blonde's hand into his own and letting out a sad sigh. "I-I can't believe I did this to you....Please forgive me, I couldn't live with myself if you were gone. Especially at my hands...."
A wave of sadness and realization hit the bluennet like a cold gust of wind. What if the blonde wasn't going to forgive him for what he did....Not that Ciel would blame him, he stabbed him in the stomach for crying out loud.
"I'm so sorry, Alois....I-I didn't mean for this to happen. Please forgive me, I-I'll do anything. I'll stay with you through every thunder storm, I'll come over more often like you always wanted me to, I'll even start smiling and laughing more often like you said....Just please, forgive me..." Ciel spoke quickly, on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He couldn't handle the thought of losing the blonde just as he had gotten him back.
He squeezed Alois' hand tightly, taking a few deep breaths to calm himself down. Another loud crash of thunder boomed through the mansion, even making the bluennet jump. All he wanted was a shaking blonde to jump in his arms; he wanted to tell him that everything was okay. But to his disappointment, Alois lay still on the bed, his usually bright, happy face, emotionless as ever.
