After meeting Alisa and Gary in the high school dining hall, I decided to head to the queue to buy my food. Before I could go far, however, I heard Alisa's voice calling out to me from the table.

-"Nathan, HERE!" shouted Alisa loudly.

I walked over and Alisa then informed me that she had already bought all my food.

-"Nathan, you don't have to stand in line. I bought everything for you," he said with a smile.

Grateful for their gesture, I took a seat next to them. Alisa quickly became aware of the situation with Sam, expressing her concern about my injury. I assured her that she was fine, but she promised revenge if she crossed paths with Sam

"Don't worry, Nathan. If I see Sam, he's going to regret what he did," he said with a fighting pose

Although I appreciated his concern, I assured him that it was not necessary. I thanked Alisa for buying my food, but Gary, with his trademark wry humor, suggested that faking an injury was an effective way to receive the good attentions of cute girls.

-"THAT'S RIGHT, Nathan. If you want to get care like Alisa's, you just have to fake an injury," Gary joked with a mischievous smile.

Before I could answer, Alisa decided to take matters into her own hands and suggested that Gary could start by faking an injury right now by stepping on her foot hard! His straightforward humor and unexpected actions always surprised me, and this was no exception.

-"What? He's kidding right?" exclaimed Gary, surprised by the suggestion. "That's ridiculous!"
