Luka was 5 years old. He was sitting with his brother Ken and his parents on the couch watching their favorite show. Luka looked up at his brother with a look of admiration and love. Ken as always looked after Luka when their parents weren't around. Ken was heartwarming and caring and always stood up and protected his brother from harm. Ken noticed his brother looking at him and responded with a warm smile and said "what is it lukie* Luka has always loved that nickname. Lukas response was heartfelt *I love you big brother. I hope one day, I can be just like you. You're so brave and strong* Ken giggled and pat his brother on the head *I'm confident you can be just like me Lukie. You're already such a wonderful person* Luka smiled as he heard his brothers words of affirmation. Their parents smiled as they watched the scene unfold. As time went by, they all got ready for bed. Luka typically sleeps with his brother and this time was no different. Soon everyone went to sleep. At around 2am in the morning, a loud thud came from the front door. This caused everyone in the house to wake up and look completely surprised and worried. Luka's dad slowly opened his door to see what happened, and to his Suprise, the door was blown off and one guy was exploring and rummaging the house. This guy was wearing a jacket with a Crimson Serpent on it. Luka's father began to slowly approach the guy with a bat he had near his bed. As he's about to swing, the guy in the Crimson Serpent jacket turned around and grabbed his neck in an instant. His father was being choked out. Luka's brother was watching the whole thing, and when this scene transpired, he instinctively ran out and defended his dad. As the guy was distracted by Their father and Ken, Luka ran to his mother and cried out in fear. Ken and Their father Began to fight the intruder *the father went for a punch while Ken went for a kick, However, The intruder stopped it easily. He pushed Ken back and began to fight their father alone. He then pushed the father up against the wall. Ken noticing this, ran up and grabbed the intruder, saying *GET AWAY FROM MY DAD AND GET OUT OF OUR HOME* Luka hears this and breaks free of his mother's grasp and runs to observe the situation. He notices that Ken has the intruder in his arms and that his Father his injured. Luka looks at his father in rage and screams *HOW DARE YOU HURT DADDY AND BIG BROTHER* He runs towards the intruder For a punch, but Ken screams *LUKA NO* The intruder breaks free due to Ken getting distracted and pulls out a knife. He stabs Ken in the stomach. Ken then falls to the ground in pain. Luka runs over to his brother crying *Big brother? Luka said. He began to shake his body but no response *Big brother? Big brother please wake up. Please wake up. He said with tears in his eyes and his voice full of desperation. He then falls over his body, crying and hugging it *Please, please don't leave me* He cried out. As This scene unfolded, Their father ran at the intruder and pinned him against the wall. *HOW DARE YOU HURT MY SON! HOW DARE YOU* Their father yelled. The intruder tried to break free but failed. Their father pinned him to the ground and beat him senseless. The intruder was on the ropes, until he took his knife and threw it towards Luka. The father noticed this and ran over to defend Luka. He Made it in time, however the knife ended up impaling his heart. Their father soon fell to the ground soon lifeless. He looked over at Luka and said *Luka my son, Live a wonderful life. Grow up big and strong. I know you have what it takes to be a wonderful person. Youve always taken after your brother. Keep being selfless No matter what.* He soon falls lifeless. Their mother ran out to see what was happening and saw Both her husband and Ken lifeless on the ground and Luka unconscious due to sobbing. She tried to run away but the intruder caught up to her and stabbed her in the back The intruder then removed his mask to wipe his head. The intruder was none other than Adam. As Adam took everything of value in the house and soon left. As Morning approached, Luka woke up. He looked around and Noticed his family's lifeless bodies in the house. He began crying again. His tears and emotions more intense than the last. In one night, Luka went from having a perfect family to being alone in complete solitude. At his age, He didn't know what to do. He sat in his house for what felt like days without moving, hoping that one of his family members would wake up, but to no avail. He then got up and walked out of the house. His body lacking food and his eyes lifeless. He didn't know where to go, but he continued to walk. As he continued to wander hopelessly, He wondered if he should just go back. He gave it some thought but in the end he continued to wander. Soon, he found himself incredibly far from his house. He soon found an abandoned shelter to go In. It was a complete wreck but it did the job. As the years went on, He would steal food, and bring it to his shelter. He would also fix up the place so it looked a little nicer. As time went by, He was 19 and attending school.
