"I'm gonna head over to New York tomorrow morning." Taylor explained as she pushed Juliette's bedroom door open, seeing the young girl sat down in front of her desk with her earphones on. She was writing something down on her notebook, humming along to the music she was listening to, not realising that Taylor had walked inside. "Juliette?"

Juliette still didn't hear Taylor, instead, tapping on the desk with her pen as she continued to hum along to the song blasting in her ears, and Taylor chuckled, walking over to the girl and standing behind her.

She didn't say anything, standing right behind the girl and staring down at her with her hands on her hips.

"Juliette!"

Juliette flinched, eyes widening as she jumped up from her chair, almost falling while doing so. She yanked her earphones off and stood up, looking at the older woman who was giggling, hands over her mouth as she tried to stop.

"Oh my god, Taylor! You scared the shit out of me!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She apologised as she continued to laugh, shaking her head and moving her hands away from her mouth. "But you should've seen the look on your face!"

"Yeah, yeah, very funny." Juliette playfully rolled her eyes before sitting back down on her chair and closing her notebook, dropping her pen on the desk with a sigh.

"Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to New York tomorrow morning, okay?" Taylor told the girl who just nodded, looking up at the woman with a small smile. "You wanna come with?"

"No, I'm fine here, you go." She shook her head. "I'm doing a few things anyways, really busy."

"Okay. Dinners almost ready, by the way." Taylor leaned down, pressing a kiss on the top of Juliette's head before turning around and walking towards the bedroom door that was opened. And she didn't notice the look on Juliette's face when she mentioned that dinner was almost ready.

"Okay."
