A compromise will only be found if both are looking.

I left the councils room quick to get changed into the more official leathers. I had to look more like a Senator. A loose blouse doesn't cut it. Especially not with Lord Orion. I looked through the closet. I wouldn't wear my favourite leather Jacket, too loose, too casual, too soldier like. Tighter blouse with a Dragon scale corset, leather pants. Everything in the darkest maroon possible. The Davòs had worked miracles with the dragon scale as a basic material and have gotten quiet good at it. The corset fits perfectly since it was made for me.

„Looking good", Lia tried to lighten my mood. Boaz stood at the tunnel exit to the Flying field. Boaz commented: „You look ready to kill Senator. Make sure you stand your ground." I nodded to Lia and she understood to go mount her Dragon. „Boaz, the second Emerson comes back make sure there is someone on him at all times. I share the feeling of the council so please ensure that for me. And make sure Willow gets the message to pass on to your Senator", I said to him in confidence while shielding us properly. Shielding was an easy task especially without a big radius. Boaz nodded and send me off: „Make sure you make it hurt." I gave him a smile and turned to the field. Easily I mounted Sea without a dipped shoulder of hers. Both Dragons mounted quickly high up into the air beyond the clouds.

The weather was decent. Not to cold and not to warm. A little sunny but still cloudy enough to be covered from the people on the ground. My hair was pinned so tight that the air couldn't even loosen a strand of hair. „Can we fry Orion and send him to Cane as a warning?", Sea suggested and I answered: „No eating our allies and enemy's?" „Not him, he will get me nauseous. Oh and he would not taste well I assume", she argued and I get it. His disgusting personality was enough to make me nauseous already. Lord Orion was difficult to not only be around but also to find common ground with. Sea gave another suggestion: „You could just off them both and put Xander in their place." „Well lets try this without killing first. We will figure something out", I tried showing hope for a solution that would actually be fine with me.

We flew close to the portal. Not easy to spot but for me easy to spot the magical energy floating concentrated. Lia's Dragon followed our lead towards and through it. It shortened the flying time by hours. Ínstad of needing 6 to 7 hours we would reach their place in about 2 hours tops. Lia still got nauseous when she flew through the portal but it already got a tiny bit better. She stopped throughout up. A small win for now.

The Sumaccian Tower was huge, way up in the air. The main navigation point for everyone on the ground and in the air.  I took my few last deep breathes before landing. Taking in the last peaceful moment before touching the ground. We dismounted our Dragons. Lia glanced over to me, kept silent. She already knew why I wanted her to be here and not Syem. I needed someone who wouldn't talk the whole damn time. I needed her to just let me do whatever was necessary. I needed her to just be there without wanting to protect me the whole time. Even thought I am respected by all council members I prefer leading by example not by fear.

We were greeted along the way by most people. Some seemed unhappy but who is happy in an uncertain time of war. Lia lead me through the place right up to Lord Orions work space. He sat behind his huge wooden table waiting for us. Posturing like a King. „Well, what took you so long to pay me a visit?", he asked arrogantly grinning. Getting up to greet me with kiss me on my cheeks. His hand on my small back. Grinning he sat back down: „What is it I can do for you Dear?" „Just murder him little one", Tsharr echoed in my head: „So disrespectful..." I shut them all out. Shielded myself from being unfocused on the conversation at hand. „Lord Orion, I have been informed that you wish to pull your troops from border patrols. May I understand why?", I asked so bloody respectful. Something he does not deserve but is necessary to get anything out of him. Orions grin unshaded me in my mind. Usually it means he already knew what he wants and it never is something nice. He started: „Well, the Alliance contract speaks of a male heir and I have not seen one yet. I expect a male heir until the end of the year." „That does not give me Troops now. What will it take to keep the troops I already have from Sumaccia?", I asked prepared for the worst of exactions by his asking. As the cruel man he has always been he answered: „My son is already here, make it count dear."
