As Hiroshi struggled to his feet, a booming voice reverberated through the forest. “Welcome, Hero of the Realm. You have been summoned to fulfill a divine prophecy.”

Confused, Hiroshi glanced around and saw a figure cloaked in radiant light. The figure introduced itself as Elder Alaric, a high mage of this world. “You have been brought here to avenge the grievances of the gods who have been wronged. The very deities of this realm have been betrayed by a powerful entity, and they have chosen you as their instrument of vengeance.”
