My alarm clock blared a random song as it went off. I groaned and shut it off. I sat up and stretched. I looked around my neat room as I scratched my head. I sighed and stood up, my joints popping. I walked into my bathroom and looked in the mirror. I grabbed my toothbrush and toothpaste and started brushing my teeth. After my breath was minty fresh, I turn on my shower and started to strip my clothes. I got in and washed myself and my hair before getting out and drying off. I walked into my room and put on boxers.
I walked over to my closet and stared at all my clothes. I decided to just wear some everyday black skinny jeans and an oversized sweatshirt. I grabbed my navy blue beanie and slipped it on my wet hair. I walked downstairs and hugged my mom. I walked to the door and grabbed my backpack. My mom tossed me an apple.
"Have a good day at school honey."
"Okay mother." I said quietly and walked outside. Sitting on the swing on my porch was my best friend, Louis Tomlinson.
"Hey Ni." Louis said getting off the swing and walking over to me, slinging his arm around my shoulders.
"Hello Louis." I said barely above a whisper. He smiled at me and we both started walking down my long drive way.
"I saw moving trucks next door. I guess you're finally getting new neighbors!" Louis says excited. He's always been friendly and outgoing. I, on the other hand, have always been shy and more introverted. I nodded and shifted my backpack to my other shoulder. Once we reached the end of my driveway, I saw the trucks. It looks like they're still unloading stuff. It also looks like they have two more trucks to go. We turn the other way to walk to school.
I know what you're thinking. Why aren't you driving? Well, I prefer walking over driving. Louis just likes to hang with me. We are probably the only juniors that do not drive. But what's the point. We live like 5 minutes away from the school. Once we reach the entrance, we walk in.
"Hi Niall."
"Hey Niall!"
"How are you?"
I'm not popular, just well known. I'm middle class. I politely smiled at all of them. Not speaking but smiling. I went to my locker and put in my combination. Louis leaned against the locker next to mine.
"I have tryouts today, do you want to stay after and wait for me? We can go back to house and you can stay the night." Louis says while he fixes his hair in the mirror in my locker. I nod my head and closed my locker.
"Great. I'll walk you to class." Me and Louis don't have first period together, but his is right across from mine. Thankfully. If anything happens, they know to go get him.
Once we reach my class, he smiles and says he'll see me after class and walks to his own. I walk in and take my seat in the very back in the corner. I look out the window while everyone else files in. The bell rings and class begins. Our teacher begins explaining something but doesn't get far because the door opens. A mop of curls pops in. The tall figure walks in and approaches the teacher. I didn't get to see his face because his back is facing the class. Mrs. Troten, our teacher, nods her head and the figure turns around. Instantly, I notice the most captivating green eyes. His slightly tan skin glows against his white v-neck. He wears black skinny jeans(skinnier than mine) that seem to elongate his legs.
"Everyone, we have a new student. Go ahead and introduce yourself." Mrs. Troten said. I found myself leaning forward a little.
" 'm Harry." He said and shrugged. My eyes widened a little. His voice. It's so deep and velvety. The kind of voice you could listen to all day.
"Okay Harry. Why don't you take a seat next to..Niall." She said and my eyes widened even more.
"Niall why don't you raise your hand." I raise my hand to my shoulder.
