The minister's house is so beautiful as if it came right out of my Pinterest board. I've always fancied places like this.
I thought we looked beautiful but oh my god the people in there.
Bela takes me through the crowd after showing a pass to the guard, "fancy some drinks?" She asks me and walks up to the bar.
We both sit there for few minutes before she finds her boyfriend Jacob and goes for a dance with him, he's the only guy I ever liked with my best friend all her exs were some crazy shit seriously.
I gulp my drink trying not to cry thinking about Sam, I promised myself I won't. I turn around for another drink when someone from my behind says "Ms Talbot?", I look behind to see who that is and see my biology professor, he's the last person I'd expect here and I'm pretty sure that my face showed my thoughts out loud cause he's awkward now.
"Mr Wayward... It's- it's so unusual I mean I didn't expect you here." I say awkwardly,
He looks at me as if I asked for a bowl of blood, yeah right it's awkward. The thing is I don't like this man, he joined our university two months ago after our last biology professor took off and he's always been this kind of mysterious figure to me, like the straight to business guy, considering his age everyone thought that he'd be a fun prof but completely opposite, hell he didn't even give us an introduction on the first day just came right in and started the lecture, I have no idea how he knows my name, he never asked maybe he knows from assignments. Let me say this, he might be all this tough and nonchalant person but he's heavenly hot, almost every girl in our class wants to get his attention, sounds right though, with that face and body anyone would want him. God! Am I seriously checking out my professor ew ew madison get a grip. I completely zoned out looking at him and he looks uncomfortable, shit. "You said something?" I asked cause probably I missed what he said,
"Yeah I said that, I think you're too drunk you can't even hear me." He says concerned,
"Oh no I just I kind of zoned out I'm sorry" I'm so embarrassed why did this man even came up to me, I would've ignored him.
"Right, guess I'll see you in class tomorrow" He says and leaves my side. I catch a sight of his back, he's wearing a grey tusk I can see his toned back in that suit.
After a while Bela comes up to me and says "omg madie where were you searched the whole palace",
" Nowhere just the washroom, where's Jacob?"
"Oh he left, did you find any guy here tho?"
"No" I sigh, no one has asked me to danc-" I'm interrupted by Mr Wayward who's standing in front of us with his hands in his pocket
"May I get a dance with you, Ms Talbot?"
What. The. Hell.
He's asking me to dance?!? I throw a shocked look at Bela who's already looking at me with that expression.
"Yes you may." I blurt out without even thinking.
"Thank you" He says and walks away.
"What was that?, isn't that your Biology professor, what's he doing here?" Bela questions
"I have no idea what just happened, i didn't even think before saying yes, what now?"I say, " Well now you dance with him"
I look at her with disappointment.
"Come on now go! He must be waiting" She rushes me

We're standing in front of each other waiting for the song to start, as the song starts he does a little courtesy for me and takes my hand in his and I feel a warmth rushing in my body his touch makes me feel vulnerable.
Pulling me closer to him he takes my other hand and places it on his rigid shoulder, his body feels so strong. We start swaying to the song when he moves his hand from my spine to my waist and his grip tightens activating every cell in my body to move, the blood from my legs rushes to my waist and my legs feel weak as if I'd fall any moment, before I could stop worrying about my legs he pulls me close to his chest, I never realized how tall he is in class my head doesn't even reach his shoulder, he puts both his hands on my waist, he spins me around and pulls me to himself so that my back is touching his chest, I'm almost on the verge of gasping cause this man is not taking it easy, he rests his chin on my shoulder and his hands on my waist and sways slowly to the music, I can't lie I actually feel so good. He spins me again to face him puts his hand deep on my waist, with his other hand he puts my hair back from my chest exposing the cleavege I was trying to hide and makes me come so close that our bodies touch one hand on my waist and other holding my hand. I hesitatingly put my hand on his back, well why am I hesitating when he's far from it.
"This is a long song" I mumble because it rreally is I'll fall if this doesn't end soon,
He hears me and says, "yeah that's right are you alright?"
"Oh-no I just thought that, I'm fine"
"Ah thank god" He relives.
After dancing for a hell long time we leave the floor and he says while leaving "See you tomorrow miss Talbot, thanks for the dance, don't stay here for too long you have college tomorrow"
"Yes Mr Wayward I won't, I really enjoyed tonight anyways"
"Oh don't- it's Dean Wayward, just call me Dean it's fine."
"Alright Dean see you tomorrow"
He waves me goodbye with a smile it's the first time I've seen him smile, i smile back so big at him and head off to the dorm with Bela where we stay up all night re-analyzing everything that happened giggling and squeaking.
