Uday's POV
The moment her lips touched mine, it felt like electricity surged through me. Without thinking, I wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her closer as I kissed her back, first gently, savoring the softness of her lips. But soon, the intensity between us grew, and I couldn't hold back. My hand slid to her waist, pinching her gently, and I felt her gasp against my mouth.
Taking that opportunity, I deepened the kiss, slipping my tongue inside her mouth. She tasted sweeter than I ever could've imagined, and I was lost in the sensation of her-of us. The world around us disappeared, and it felt like we were the only two people in existence.
I didn't know how long we stayed like that, locked in our kiss, but eventually, I could feel her breath becoming ragged. Reluctantly, I pulled back, breaking the kiss. Her face was flushed, her cheeks a beautiful shade of red, and I couldn't help but smile. She looked even more stunning like this.
I raised my hand to her face, gently brushing her cheek with my thumb. "Are you okay?" I asked, my voice laced with concern. "Was I too fast? Did I make you uncomfortable?"
Her soft smile reassured me. "No, Uday. It was... the best."
Relief washed over me, and I smiled back at her. "I wanted this to be our first kiss," I admitted, my voice dropping. "But because of my stupidity earlier, I-"
Before I could finish, she placed her hand gently over my mouth, silencing me.
"Shh... don't talk about that, okay?" she whispered, her eyes soft. "That doesn't matter anymore."
I kissed her hand, still held against my lips. "Anika," I murmured, gazing into her eyes. "You know, I've never seen anyone as pretty as you."
She chuckled, shaking her head slightly. "There are tons of girls who are prettier than me."
I frowned, shaking my head in disagreement. "No, for me, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on. Every time I see you, you take my breath away."
Her eyes softened, and she smiled, but I could see a glint of shyness in her gaze. I wasn't just saying those words to flatter her-I meant every word. Anika wasn't just beautiful on the outside. There was something about her, something that made her more breathtaking with every passing moment.
She smiled softly, taking my hands in hers. "For me as well, Uday. No one's ever made me feel beautiful the way you do."
I couldn't help but grin. "And no one ever will. Only I have that right."
She chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Possessive much?"
"Very much," I replied without hesitation. "Now that you're mine, I'm very possessive about things that belong to me. But you're not a thing, Anika. You're my whole heart." As I said that, I leaned in and kissed her forehead, feeling her blush beneath my lips.
She blushed even more, and I couldn't resist teasing her. I leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "You're blushing over just these few words. What will happen when I do more?"
She playfully hit my arm and stepped away, flustered. "Are you planning to fill me up with just your words, or will you actually feed me something?"
I smirked, unable to resist teasing her again. "If you want, you can eat me. I wouldn't mind."
Her eyes widened at my bold statement, and her cheeks turned an even deeper shade of red. God, I loved making her blush.
"I'm not talking to you anymore," she said, crossing her arms.
I laughed, raising my hands in surrender. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Let's go." I gently grabbed her hand again and led her toward our table, enjoying every second of her flustered state.
