Jisung's spent a week running around, visiting old castles and seeing beautiful scenery, using his disposable camera to commit places to memory, beautiful places and silly pictures with Chan. He's had a great time, but god does the resort feel heavenly after visiting for so long.

It's noon, and Jisung gets into the pool with a mimosa and the cemented decision to rot in the pool and not move unless it's to get another mimosa or anything of the sort. He sighs, going boneless, mouth sinking into the water. He lets his eyes flutter close and sighs, bubbles coming up, splashing water under Jisung's nose.

Chan's still sleeping; he hasn't been reading Jisung's texts so Jisung decides to indulge in solo-time and enjoy himself. Jisung opens his eyes and sees something from the corner of his eye.

There's a frog. In his pool.

Jisung lets out a small squeak. He's not afraid of frogs per se, but he's not particularly fond of them. He'd carry it away if he wasn't so squirmy about feeling its slimy skin around his fingers. Looking around, he sees some guy sitting in the lifeguard seat and calls out a little weakly.

"Uuuuh, hi? I'm sorry, but there's a frog in the pool."

The man in the seat groans, grabbing a net and saying "again?" like Jisung would know. He climbs down and approaches him. He doesn't look tall but he sure looks sturdy. Jisung has eyes, and they're currently staring at the man's exposed thighs, his shorts leaving nothing to the imagination, and he gulps.

The lifeguard bends over and extends his net, and Jisung is forced to confront the very tangible fact that the lifeguard's got cake. He stifles a nervous sound of laughter. This is bad.

Once the frog is retrieved and put back into the relative wild, the lifeguard crouches next to Jisung's head (Jisung tries not to stare at his crotch and fails) and smiles at him.

"You know it's dangerous to laze around with alcohol in the pool, even more so when the sun is hitting so hard?"

Jisung opens his mouth, letting it hang dumbly for a second before saying "I'm pretty sure you wouldn't let me drown."

The man stares at him for a second before barking out a laugh, the sound turning into reedy laughter while Jisung thinks he needs to get this man's number or else he'll die for sure.

"I'll keep a close eye on you, then," the lifeguard promises, and, true to himself, Jisung takes a sip from his mimosa.

Jisung's having a charcuterie planche and more mimosa when Chan shows up, eyes still puffy with sleep.

"You good?" Jisung asks, and Chan yawns, taking his shirt off. He still has creases from his sheets over his chest when he joins Jisung into the pool.

"The bed is so comfortable, I felt like it swallowed me whole."

Jisung hums, gaze fleeting to the lifeguard's chair.

"I hope you get as much sleep as you can here," Jisung replies and Chan hums, taking a sip from Jisung's mimosa.

"Hyung, let me get you one for yourself," he tells him, and Chan nods, brain still starting up.

He gets a drink for Chan and locks gazes with the lifeguard. He tries holding his gaze as he walks back to the pool. He starts trotting and fucking slips on a puddle of water, falling comically slow, onto his ass, thankfully not spilling too much of his drink out.

The lifeguard blows his whistle and hollers a "Don't run close to a pool!" He gets to Jisung's level and helps him up. His biceps would look nice in a headlock, Jisung distantly thinks. "Didn't your mom teach you anything?"
