TW: Gore.
Soonyoung sat in his office, hands pressed tightly over his ears, eyes clenched shut, trying to drown out the sounds of chaos. The relentless explosions outside the hospital, the distant screams of people caught in the crossfire - it was unbearable. Every thundering boom felt like it was shaking the walls of his very mind. The weight of his decision to give Woozi the gun was crushing him, gnawing at his conscience. He knew the destruction unfolding outside was his fault. And yet, a sickening part of him couldn't regret it. Not when it meant he was tied to Woozi, the twisted, brilliant mind that had consumed his thoughts for weeks.
His heart raced in tandem with the chaos outside, but one truth remained - he didn't regret loving Woozi. That feeling, as wrong as it was, was the one constant amidst the madness.
Suddenly, the door to his office flew open. Before Soonyoung could react, a figure lunged at him, a sharp glint of metal in their hand. Instinct took over. He grabbed the broken leg of a chair near his desk, his grip tightening as the attacker swung wildly. Soonyoung deflected the blade, countering with a savage blow to the side of the intruder's head. Another strike to the ribs, then to the knee - he was relentless, the madness driving him as he bludgeoned the attacker with everything he had.
The world blurred around him, a haze of violence and rage. His mind screamed at him to stop, to pull back, but the primal force surging through him wouldn't let up. The chair leg came down again and again, blood splattering his face. It was only when he felt a sharp sting in the back of his neck that everything started to fade. His vision dimmed, and he collapsed to the floor, his body going limp as the sedative took hold.

When Soonyoung woke, his head throbbed with a dull ache, and his limbs felt heavy. He blinked slowly, trying to make sense of his surroundings. The sterile white ceiling above him gave him no comfort. His arms and legs were strapped tightly to a hospital bed, the restraints digging into his skin as he attempted to wiggle free.
Panic surged through him as he struggled, his breath coming in shallow, rapid gasps. He thrashed against the restraints, his mind racing, desperate to break free.
And then, he heard it.
A soft, familiar hum.
That melody. That tune.
His blood ran cold as the realization hit him. Woozi.
Soonyoung's head snapped to the side, his heart racing. Standing in the doorway, bathed in the eerie glow of the room's fluorescent lights, was Woozi. But he looked... different. More striking. The small star tattoo beneath his eye seemed to glow, more vivid against his pale skin. His lips, once a delicate shade of pink, now looked almost unnaturally vibrant, like fresh blood on snow.
Woozi smiled sweetly, that same innocent, childlike smile that had first drawn Soonyoung in. But now, it felt menacing, like the smile of a predator toying with its prey.
"Good morning, Doctor," Woozi said softly, his voice honeyed and calm, as though they were back in one of their sessions, nothing out of the ordinary.
Soonyoung's pulse quickened as he tugged harder at the restraints. "Woozi..." His voice was hoarse, laced with fear, but there was something else too - an unmistakable pull, a part of him that still longed for the man standing before him.
Woozi hummed again, stepping closer to the bed, his footsteps soft and deliberate. "Shh, shh," he cooed, his eyes glinting with amusement. "There's no need to struggle, Doctor. We're just going to have a little fun. Just like old times."
Soonyoung's breath hitched as Woozi reached the bed, his fingers lightly tracing the edge of the restraints around Soonyoung's wrist. "You know," Woozi mused, his voice sweet but dripping with malice, "I've always wondered what it would take to make you break, Soonyoung. To really push you past that professional mask of yours."
Woozi's fingers moved up to brush Soonyoung's cheek, and despite himself, Soonyoung shivered at the touch. "You've always been so... composed. Even when I kissed you, even when you gave me that lovely little gun," Woozi continued, his voice taking on a sing-song quality. "But I know there's something darker inside you, Doctor. I can see it. I felt it that day."
Soonyoung stared up at Woozi, his mind racing as Woozi began fiddling with the controls of a nearby machine, the low hum of electricity filling the room. His eyes widened in panic. "What are you doing?" he rasped, struggling harder against the restraints, but his body remained bound, helpless.
Woozi giggled softly, his lips curling into a smile that was both sweet and terrifying. "Oh, don't worry. I'm just going to help you understand yourself a little better." He leaned down, his lips brushing Soonyoung's ear. "After all, Doctor, you're just as mad as I am. You just don't want to admit it."
Soonyoung's eyes flickered to the machine, the electrodes Woozi held in his hands. His heart pounded in his chest, terror clawing at him. "Please," he whispered, but Woozi simply smiled, his eyes sparkling with a sadistic delight.
"You see," Woozi began, positioning the electrodes carefully on Soonyoung's temples, "I think you've always wanted this. To be free. To let go of that pesky little thing you call sanity." He sighed dramatically. "It's such a burden, isn't it?"
Soonyoung tried to shake his head, but the restraints kept him in place. "Woozi, don't-"
But before he could finish, Woozi flipped the switch, sending a surge of electricity coursing through Soonyoung's body. The pain was instantaneous, a sharp, burning sensation that tore through his nerves like wildfire. His body convulsed against the restraints, his screams echoing through the room.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Woozi murmured, his eyes wide with awe as he watched Soonyoung writhe in agony. "This... this is what freedom looks like, Doctor."
Soonyoung's vision blurred as the electric shocks continued, his mind overwhelmed by the pain. He could barely hear Woozi's voice over the crackling of the machine, but the words still seeped into his consciousness.
"Don't you feel it?" Woozi whispered, leaning close again. "The madness. The release. It's liberating, isn't it? No more rules. No more control. Just pure, unfiltered chaos."
Soonyoung gasped for breath as the shocks finally stopped, his body going limp against the bed. Every muscle ached, his head pounding with the aftershocks of the torture he'd just endured. Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes, but he refused to let them fall.
Woozi stood over him, his expression soft, almost loving. "There you are," he cooed, gently stroking Soonyoung's hair. "That wasn't so bad, was it?"
Soonyoung couldn't find the strength to respond. His body was broken, his mind teetering on the edge of collapse. And yet, through the haze of pain and fear, a small, twisted part of him craved more.
Woozi leaned down, his lips hovering over Soonyoung's once more. "You're mine now, Soonyoung," he whispered, his breath warm against Soonyoung's skin. "And I'm never letting you go."
He kissed Soonyoung softly, and despite the pain, despite the madness swirling in his head, Soonyoung kissed him back.
Because in that moment, he knew Woozi was right.
He was just as insane.
And he loved it.
