Ch9- Dark Tower

The man was walking casually enjoying his day, he had black hair and eyes. He wore a red T - shirt and jeans with slippers so overall he looked like a casual Japanese man.

" Boss, where are you going? "

A man with silver hair and purple eyes asked, he's name was Sabo. He looked extremely handsome and almost resembled a girl.

The man looked at Sabo then sighed.

" I'm the leader of the party right? I want to check out the dark tower everyone's been talking about and my names Takio not boss "

" Calling Estia a party is pretty underestimate you know....and if you really want to go your gonna have to take two others to accompany you "

" Sure, aslong as they don't hold me back. I'm pretty excited about this, especially because some say a king is being born "

" Yeah yeah. Just be careful "

Sabo really wasn't worried about Takio, he just didn't want him to go all out and cuase trouble. He could already see the smile Takio was making.

Arino, Soara, Kate and Frost were now in the forest of Velly where the dark tower was located.

" Uwa~ the tower is quite something "

Frost wasn't the only one amazed, the dark towers height extended up to 100 meters. They weren't also the only party there, hundreds of adventurers gathered outside to prepare for the expidition.

Arino was pretty excited now, Kate felt the same way as him but Soara was pretty nervous.

" Don't worry Soara, I'll protect you and everyone else no matter what. All you have to do is play your role "

Arino assigned roles to the three, Kate would be their main attacker, Frost would be their defence and Soara was their monster detector who stayed close to Arino.

Arino provided everyone with good equipment he bought. They were ready and decided to head inside the tower.

The four walked inside the tower for about one hour without any encounters.

" What's up with this tower! I want to fight! "

Kate was already frustrated, she wanted to use her new daggers that Arino gave her to impress him with her combat skills.

" Seems to me that the reason there aren't any is because the monsters have already been defeated by others "

Arino agreed with Frost, it was the most logical answer and they were now approaching floor 50. They were able to figure out where they went because of Arino using his ability 《 World map 》.

" Master, I detect enemies nearby...about 10! "

Soara's unique ability 《 Detection 》was spot on. This signaled everyone to get into position, Kate had a predatory smile on her face as she was ready for enemies.

There were five dark type skeletons and five null type skeletons. Arino wasn't particularly worried but at the same time didn't know the highest danger rating.

" Kate, you know what to do "

" Haha, ofcousre Master! "

The skeletons had rusty swords and equipment, they moved faster than expected and had some level of skill but it meant nothing for Kate's sheer strength and speed.

She made quick work of them without the need for help and got the job done without using her unique ability.

Arino was satisfied and so the party continued on while discovering more monsters.

Wolf's, zombies, slimes, goblins and orges were defeated by Kate with the help from Frost. It was smooth sailing but now the boss orge was fighting Kate and she was struggling.

Frost couldn't help Kate because she couldn't use her ability anymore for the day.

" Gr gr gr! "

" You bastard! "

The orge boss was mocking Kate's struggle, her face distorted into pure anger while she bit her lip that was bleeding.

" Master shouldn't you help her? "

Soara was concerned for Kate, she didn't want her to die.

" I agree with Soara, she needs your help Master....it's because I'm useless now "

Frost was frustrated with her own limits.

" I'll help her if she's in real mortal danger but right now she hasn't gone all out yet. Let's wait and see what happens "
