A Solider's savior

Ch. 2

A/N sorry this took a while, but here it is.

Topeka, Kansas

It was sunny as Jimmy walked out of the church. He was happy, he was back home where he could sleep in, eat when  he wanted and he could go to his church on  Sunday. Well he was happy until he saw a car he recognized from work. Jimmy walked to the car at the end of the sidewalk,the passenger window rolled down to reveal none other than Balthazar, Jimmy's superior. "Hello James happy to be are we?"
"Yes, aren't you supposed to be halfway across the world right now?" Jimmy asked
"Well I would be but it seems the army needs our help."
"Get to the point,Balthazar." Said a voice from the driver side, Jimmy also recognized.
"Gadreel?" Jimmy asked "what are you doing here?"
"Making sure Balthazar does his job." Gadreel said with a hint in his voice that suggested he was not happy with the fact that Balthazar was trying to make small talk.
"Why don't we talk at my apartment, I drove myself so follow me."

They arrived at Jimmy's apartment fifteen minutes later.
As Gadreel got out of the car he opened the back door and grabbed two big folders. When they got inside Jimmy's apartment and closed the door he looked at both of them and said "guys look no offense but what are you doing here?" "Not a what but a who." Gadreel answered
Gadreel then placed the two files on the coffee table and sat down on the couch along with Balthazar.
"Open the file" said Balthazar,who read jimmy's mind.
Jimmy opened the first file and picked up the picture, which he studied. The eyes was the first thing that caught his attention they were the greenest eyes he'd ever seen. " That's major Dean Winchester, went on patrol one night with a team, neither him or the team has come back or made contact since they disappeared two weeks ago."
Jimmy put down the photo and switched to marine mode.
"He's made no contact with anybody?" Jimmy asked
Gadreel sighed & looked at Balthazar
"Should you tell him or should I"
"Tell me what?"
Balthazar started " Good news is he has family close by, we hope to get out there by Tuesday but now we are aiming for Monday, you have 10 minutes to change then we'll go talk to the family." Jimmy thought for a moment " Wait how close is his family?" Knowing that Gadreel wouldn't answer him, jimmy looked at Balthazar who simply said "get dressed."
