Before we start I will address this now. Any time you see * in the title then it means there will be some heated moments.

Early on it'll be tamed of course, but do remember this book is on the mature side. In  there mere future it'll be a lot more than just  light teasing.

"I will be your queen"

Those following words that left your lips will forever haunt you, and if only you were aware for what fate was set in stone for you in the future... then you wouldn't had agreed so easily. However it couldn't be that bad right?

Could it?

You tried to shake off the churning feeling in your stomach, and reminded yourself it'll be worth the effort. After all the eternal blizzard would be lifted. People throughout the kingdom would not suffer from the prolonging cold anymore, and it'll return to how it originally was before.

A happy kingdom...

Just imagining the sight of the townspeople once again having late night festivals, drinking, and dancing tugged your heartstrings. If it costed yourself to give herself to this cruel ruler then let it happen. Your sacrifice will not be in vain.

Jimin, who was silent, finally returned a smirk.  "Smart choice." He murmured before withdrawing his hand away from your cheek, and soon he stepped back which left a strange impression on you.

Was that it? Like he wasn't gonna do anything to her?

Not that you were complaining here, but if you remembered correctly usually something would happen right? By this you were totally basing off of the rumors you've heard from the village people. Something by the lines of — once you become the king's belonging, you'll be immediately taken to his bed chamber, and from there you'll be made his Queen.

And yes you were completely aware how ridiculous that sounded yet you could itch the fact that it could be true. What if she did end up locked in his sheets? The thought of it made you swallow involuntarily, and you were definitely thinking of the many impure things that could happen.

But hold on second...

Why the hell were you imagining these things?

'For crying out loud Y/n, you need to get it together!' You scolded yourself mentally before mustering up the courage to speak up.

"That's all..? Like that's all you want?" You asked which brought Jimin's steps to halt momentarily.

His back was faced towards your view, and without a mere seconds he slowly shifted his head around with his eyes darted at you.

God those icy blue eyes are one heck of a killer to look at! Not to mention that side profile...

Sheesh.

"Is that disappointment I hear?" He soon spoke up with his usual cold tone not bothering to feign that snarky demeanor from earlier.

"Disappointed?" You repeated his word.

Did you really came off as disappointed? If so that was definitely unintentional. It was just a harmless question.

"No?" You shook your head. "I just thought there would be more to it.."

"Is that so?" Jimin returned a mischievous glint in his eyes as he fixed her his body to face you.

"And what more did you expect?" He asked whilst taking deliberate steps closer to close off distance with you.
