So here's something that my cringe self decided to write(with lots of help from my friends of course) When will I regret this decision? IDK well since you're here, enjoy.

So how should I start? Let me think... I was sitting in the void. Nothing and no one except me and a boy we chatted and I talked and now I shall tell him my story. How I got here, how I met him... from my perspective. After all no one is left, only me and well... my lover, tormenter, and my friend.

XXX YEARS AGO

Well, it all started the day my friend introduced me to Genshin Impact. In this game you can basically do anything, cook, explore, fight. It's an open world game where anything is possible, where you can enjoy and rejoice in the world of Tyvat, where you are the hero of your story and many other stories. That day I was just chilling on my bed, wondering if I should watch Attack on Titan or My Hero Academia. Well that day I watched My Hero in case you are curious.

Anyways, my friend messaged me something strange, "Try this game! It's really fun. I think you will like it!" Then there was a link to the Genshin Impact web page.

"Huh..." It was strange, my friends did not play any games or maybe she just didn't tell me. I did not think much about it so I clicked the link and got sent to an anime styled homepage. There were multiple banners, one which piqued my interest.

"What is this?" I muttered to myself. There seems to be an event going on.

It said, "Get invited to a once in a lifetime experience! Click the banner to start now!" It looked interesting enough so I clicked the banner and then fell asleep. I had a weird dream, I was floating in a bare nothingness, dark and mysterious. The only light seems to come from above there. It shone with all its holy glory. I struggle to go there, to touch the light, to reach, to somehow achieve the impossible. I did not know why I wanted to, maybe to get to safety, maybe to escape reality. Soon I noticed that the darkness grew hands out of nowhere, it had claws made of ink and it seemed to smirk, though that felt very unlikely. I struggled, but it seemed to do no good, I sank into the darkness, which somehow felt comforting in a sense. I curled into a ball and held on tight to my legs as I sobbed. My tears drifted further and further away from me. I tried to reach for them but they always escaped my grasp. I looked under me to see a male with dark purple hair and violet eyes smile a wicked smile at me. He was beautiful, unreal, with red eyeliner on his eyes and pale skin. His eyes filled with psychotic love and insanity. His body melted away into the darkness and soon disappeared out of sight. Suddenly I noticed a voice that sent shivers down my spine.

"I'm coming for you, Kaedence," I quickly turned around to see that the young man next to me was the same one as before, then he disappeared like he was never there in the first place. Then I woke up. In cold sweat, breathing like I hadn't in a long time. I got up and grabbed my phone. It was dead. I looked up at the clock to see that it was in fact 4am and definitely way too early to get up. I could not sleep anyways so I got up from my bed and went downstairs and into the dark kitchen. Usually I would keep it this way since I was not afraid of the dark, but that thinking back on that dream still sent shivers down so I turned on the yellowish lights and stepped into the kitchen. I looked around to see... nothing, so I got myself some cookies and warmed up a glass of milk completely unaware of the eyes staring through the window ominously, without even blinking.

THE NEXT DAY

I couldn't sleep that night. For, I could think about the dream of the guy, the way he looked... he kind of looked familiar. My phone was back and it was alive, so I went on it to see... an app? It wasn't on my phone before and it did not look like some prank app that my friend would have downloaded. The icon was a young girl, with white hair, blue eyes and star decorations. The name of the app was Genshin Impact? I opened it to show that I was already logged in... to my email. I gasped, and stumbled away. I didn't understand. Noone had access to my email other than me. I held on to my phone with shaky hands and tapped the start button. The loading screen was serene and calm with a door that seemed to lead into another world. After the door opened, there seemed to be different elements like air and electro icons. Suddenly my eyes went black.
