“Agnes called. Raikko, nag-away daw si Abby at Janice? I told you to refrain from having affairs with our family friends!”

I am talking to my mother over the phone. Nakarating na pala sa kanya. Sumasakit ang ulo ko. My name is dragged to another pity cat fight. I won't try to explain myself to her. Hindi rin naman siya maniniwala.

“Can you keep your hands off, Raikko? Why can’t you stick to one girl nang hindi na nangyayari ang ganito?”

I heard my father on the other line. He is trying to make my hysterical mother calm down. Patuloy pa rin sa pagpapangaral si Mama. I am used to it kaya hinayaan ko na siya. Anyway, she will stop once she’s done.

I tried to keep one girl at a time before but I find it a waste of time. In a couple of weeks or a month, I am slowly losing interest. I don’t want to be a jerk breaking up from time to time kaya mas mabuti na ang casual relationships. But the problem is simula lang maayos. Akala ko nagkasundo kami but then they want something more na una pa lang alam naman nilang hindi ko maiibigay. Although, hindi naman lahat pero karamihan ay nauuwi sa pagiging possessive.

I am still young. Girls, sex and party are fun. Kaya bakit ko lilimitahan ang sarili ko?

“You know ayoko ng maulit pa ang nangyari kay Alaiza noon. My goodness Raikko, haven’t you learned!?”

I groaned. Whenever I remember that girl, sumasakit ang ulo ko. She mistook my kindness towards her. She assumed that I have feelings for her. I find her pretty but I know my boundaries. Hindi ko pagkaka-interesan ang isang katulong. Don’t get me wrong. This isn’t about the status. I even dated commoner girls before. I just find it not right.

Nagulat na lang ako na lantaran na lang nagbibigay ng motibo. I even caught her inside my room naked. Tapos gusto niyang palabasing I took advantage of her. She even announced I got her pregnant. After her case was resolved, tatlong buwan akong hindi umuwi ng bahay. That was creepy.

My eyes squinted when I saw a new face. Nasa taas ako at nakadungaw sa ibaba. Ang aming mayor doma at isang katulong ay may kausap na babae.

I smirked. Maganda. She has a slender figure but not that busty. Look at that face: sharp eyes slightly pointed at each corner, narrow nose and thin lips. And that cute a bit plump cheeks. She has a small face but a perfect chin. I would love to hold that. She looks angelic but her sharp eyes give her fierce air. She's not fair, must be caused by too much exposure under the sun.

“Raikko, are you listening?”

Napakurap-kurap ako. Damn. I probably look like a maniac staring at the new girl. Napailing na lang ako. Who’s that girl?

“Yes, Ma.”

I put down my phone after my mother’s finale speech. Dumaan ang isang katulong kaya tinawag ko.

“Bakit, Sir?”

“Who’s she?”

Napatingin naman siya sa baba. “Baka ‘yong bagong katulong po.”

Tumango ako. “Alright. Salamat.”

Hindi ko na tinuloy ang balak na pagbaba, sa halip bumalik na lang sa kuwarto. I feel disappointed. What am I even thinking?

The next day, I got to see her in the pool area. I was amused when I caught her staring at me. Kailan pa ako tuwang-tuwa na may babaeng nakakatitig sa akin? Inutusan ko pang kumuha ng tuwalya. She tripped on the side of the pool when she returned. It’s wrong to laugh but I just can’t help it. She is too cute and definitely naïve. Nagmamadaling siyang umalis ng pool, napailing na lang ako.
