"why you still trying to reach out to her? it's been 2 years, treasure" jeremiah said and i rolled my eyes. me and latia haven't talked for 2 years. i tried calling her that one day to tell her how my biological mom popped up and stuff but she ain't never reach back out to me.
a couple months later she unfollowed me on everything but she didn't block me.
"she unfollowed you on all social media and you not taking the hint? she don't wanna be cool no more and that's fine mama because you don't need her. you have me" he said and i smiled.
"yeah i know but it's still weird how she stopped talking to me and did all that stuff out of the blue" i said.
"i know but once everybody get to college everybody wanna change. shit crazy foreal" he said. i gave him a kiss and my phone started ringing. i seen it was my client so i answered it and walked out my room.
"hello. this is ms. mcmillan" i said.
"hey. i was calling to see if you can change the date for the house tour" my client said making me rush to get my pen and notebook.
"ok. so your appointment was sat for the 7th at 12:30pm. what would you like to change it to? i have the 8th-10th available at 1:00pm then i have the 11th-12th available at 3:00pm" i said.
"can we do the 10th at 1? i would've came to date we already scheduled but my mother is coming into town so i wanted to spend time with her before she go back home" she told me.
"it's fine. thank you for telling me ahead of time. your appointment is set for the 10th at 1:00pm. i'll send you a text that day to make sure we still on for the tour" i said.
"ok thank so much. have a nice day!" she said.
"you welcome and same to you" i said. i hung up the phone and smiled. so far my real estate been going good. i don't have my own agency yet but it's coming soon. i been doing this for a year now. i even got my own apartment.
"who was that?" jeremiah asked as he came out my room.
"my client. she wanted to change her appointment because her mother coming into town" i said and he nodded. he kissed my forehead.
"so beautiful" he said and i smiled.

"ain't shit. finna hop on da game in ah lil bit" i told him.
"join my party" he said. i told him ok then hung up. my phone started ringing again making me huff but instantly smiled seeing it was ava.
