Mohan stood at the wardrobe, carefully selecting a simple cream-colored shirt and dark blue pants for Sanjana, along with a vest and briefs. As he handed them to her, Sanjana hesitated, her face flushing with embarrassment. She turned shyly to Mohan and said, “Can you turn around for a minute?”

Mohan obliged, turning his back, but curiosity got the better of him. He couldn’t help but sneak a glance over his shoulder to see how she looked in her new masculine form. What he saw made him swallow nervously. Sanjana, now possessing a body that was nothing short of a Greek statue, had strong, veiny arms and a broad, muscular chest with just a bit of hair. His eyes traveled down to her powerful thighs, and when they lingered slightly higher, he noticed the unmistakable bulge in her briefs. His heart skipped a beat, and he quickly looked away, feeling a strange mix of embarrassment and butterflies in his stomach.

Sanjana caught him looking and noticed where his gaze had landed. She blushed even deeper but chose not to say anything. Instead, they both awkwardly turned away at the same time, their cheeks burning in mutual discomfort.

"Are you finished dressing?" Mohan asked, trying to regain his composure.

"Yeah," Sanjana replied, her voice steady, though both of them felt the tension in the air.

They tried to shake off the awkwardness as they headed to the small shop where they had purchased the mysterious statue. It was their only lead on how to reverse whatever had happened. As they entered the shop, they noticed that the shopkeeper from before was gone, replaced by a new, unfamiliar face. They approached him, hopeful but nervous.

“We bought a statue here a few days ago," Mohan started, his voice tentative. "Do you know anything about it?"

The shopkeeper shrugged indifferently. "I don’t know anything about any statue," he said flatly. "Sorry."

Disappointed, they left the shop, feeling the weight of hopelessness creeping in. As they walked out into the street, heads bowed in frustration, a voice called out to them from across the way. They looked up to see a sadhu sitting under a large banyan tree, chanting softly. His eyes twinkled with an odd sense of amusement as he waved them over.

"Come, come," he called out, laughing hysterically. "I know about your problem."

Startled, they approached him cautiously. The monk continued to chuckle as if he had been expecting them all along.

"You think this is a problem," he said, wagging a finger at them, "but it is not. It is a boon! You were living unfulfilled lives, unaware of the true essence of existence. Now, you are given a chance to experience life in a way most never will. Live this life fully! Embrace it, and you will find meaning."

Before they could respond, the monk stood up, still laughing to himself, and walked away, leaving them standing in silence, stunned. They looked at each other, searching for any sign that the other understood what had just happened. But neither had answers.

Back at home, the weight of the day’s events finally broke Mohan. He sat on the edge of the couch, his head in his hands, sobbing quietly. “We’re stuck like this,” he cried. "We’re doomed. How are we going to live like this?"

Sanjana sat beside him, her heart aching at the sight of him breaking down. She gently placed a hand on his back, trying to comfort him. “Don’t worry, Mohan. We’ll figure this out. There has to be a solution.” She pulled him into a hug, her new strong arms wrapping around his smaller frame. For a moment, they just held each other, the stress of the situation melting away in the quiet comfort of their embrace. Their eyes met, locking for a few seconds as if searching for reassurance in each other. The moment was intense, filled with unspoken emotions.

Suddenly, they both pulled away, awkwardly clearing their throats, trying to shake off the unexpected closeness. Mohan wiped his eyes and stood up. “Tomorrow, we have to go to the office,” he said, his voice shaky. “We should get some rest and figure out how to handle this.”

Sanjana blinked, her eyes widening in shock. “The office? How can we go to work like this?” she exclaimed. "I’m not ready to face anyone in this body!"

Mohan sighed. "Same here. It’s going to be impossible to explain this."

They both sat in silence, staring at the floor, the enormity of the situation sinking in. “What can we even do?” Sanjana whispered.

Mohan shrugged helplessly. “Let’s decide tomorrow. Maybe we’ll think of something by then.”

As night fell, they retired to their room, their minds swirling with worry and uncertainty. Neither of them knew what tomorrow would bring, but they knew they couldn’t avoid it forever. They had to find a way to navigate this strange new reality.
