Chapter 1: A new life in another world

Cathy has gone into another world; she was born in a small village named Chilgarde, it is surrounded by grass fields where you can find farm animals like sheep, chickens, cows and goats.

Beyond the fields there's a forest full of unknown beings, that even a villager won't dare to go in, unless you are an adventurer who knows what to do beyond that point.

Meanwhile inside a peaceful home; on the outskirts of Chilgarde...

A girl named Runa, woke up feeling confused where she was; all she remembered was being hit by a truck while running towards a person who she does not really remember.

Ughh... who was that person? I saw him crying and shouting the name "Cathy"...is that my name? my- my mind is so blurry, that I cannot remember..

Unexpectedly, while she was still in her confused state, she heard the door slowly opening in the room. She saw a beautiful young woman coming in, dressed with rugged clothes, and a man who was wearing a cape, while carrying a sword on his torso.

Cathy looks at the lady carrying a milk bottle while smiling at her and says, "Oh my... My cute little princess is awake"

Then the man speaks after the lady, "Runa, you're so cute and strong just like your old man"

The woman with the evil grin strikes his head and asks him, "Dear, you think our girl will grow up holding a sword and become strong like you? And why are you still here, you have important business to attend to, right?"

The man who is ready to leave the room, speaks back at the woman while scratching his head, "Ouch.. Dear what was that for? Alright... Alright... Runa, you look like your mother! A beautiful calm maiden like her... And yes! I do have a business to attend to, I just wanted to look at our sweet little princess first before I go."

And the man left the room while the woman was smiling at him and saying her goodbyes.

Meanwhile.. Cathy In a state of confusion, stares at the woman and tries to speak to her.

Where am i? Who are these two people, and where's Mark and Ridel? Did Mark receive my gift?.. Wait, what are these blurred memories? Who's mark and ridel?

Cathy starts to cry, trying to speak aggressively, but all she can hear from her mouth are baby noises.

The woman looks at her, smiles and says, "Oh Runa dear, why are you crying?" trying to plead and caressed her by saying, "I'm here now, don't cry-"

She grabs Cathy, (who is now named Runa) and tries to feed her with the milk bottle.

Runa refuses to drink the milk from the baby bottle on her mothers hand.

With no luck feeding Runa, the woman puts the baby bottle on the table near her, feeling a little bit worried why runa is refusing to drink.

She touches and checks her forehead making sure if she has no fever, "Runa, are you sick? You don't seem to have had a fever since yesterday.."

With the sigh of her own relief, The woman looks at Runa, caresses her head, starts to slowly sway Runa on both sides under her own hands, and begins humming a lullaby..

Runa stops crying, as her eyes slowly close as she hears her mothers lullaby..

Mother? Why am I suddenly feeling sleeply, stop... I- need to know where I am.. i mu-

And the innocent baby Runa fell asleep on the hands of her mother..
