Krishna's ears rang as he realised what had happened. He moved away from his father and his alleged fiance, he knew they were calling him but he stepped back and rushed to his room. His breaths burned in his lungs as he found the prospect that he was married to someone else.He didn't know if anyone else would have known how to differentiate them but maybe if he had sight then he too could've known that she wasn't his fiance but her sister. That's why she had been shocked, Krishna realised. She had lied so well through her body too, as if they had done it a thousand times. He felt embarassment wash over him.
His fingers curled into fists as he felt cool fire rush in because of the betrayal. What a fool he might've seemed to her!
Krishna slammed the door open and stood. He could only see blurry shapes but he already sensed that the room was empty. Still, he moved to the bed and patted it down, throwing the comforter away with force. He marched to bathroom and he saw that it was empty too.
She had vanished.
For a moment, Krishna thought his mind had conjured up a whole evening by itself. But, he had gotten married. They were together. She had been real and now where the f*ck was she?

A few hours before...
Asha jumped as one more firecracker burst in the sky. The meter was running in the taxi and the driver was grumbling. She fidgeted with her phone and tried to call Usha again but her phone was yet again left unanswered.
Her twin sister was the first to pick up the phone when she called her mother. Usha had told her that her mother didn't wish to speak to her and she should call Usha's personal phone.
Asha couldn't believe at first at how sympathetic Usha was. Her twin sister really had changed herself. She was ready at once to help her and was ready to lend the money she needed.
Asha had to come to India sooner than she had planned. She had found a magazine talking about the wedding of the season and where it was held. It was Usha and Krishna ofcourse. Ofcourse they decided to get married. Asha stared way too long at the pap spread of Krishna. He had changed too. She looked at the image of him and her sister walking holding hands, they looked good together. Like a modern day princess with her prince charming.
She came to reality when the taxi driver yelled at her in Marathi, which she had quite forgotten. But by his gestures she understood that he was telling her to pay and get out. She paid and got out. She knew the wedding was happening at the penthouse floor of The Elite. She also knew she risked running into her family and friends but she had no other option. She desperately needed the money that Usha had promised her.
Asha breathed out and pulled her hood up. She walked in through one of the service entrances she knew as a child because she had played all over this very hotel with her sister and her friends. Thankfully the door was unlocked.
She rode the elevator to the penthouse. And pressed the door bell in hopes that someone would open the door, preferably Usha.
The door swung open and a girl with the straightest glossiest hair gasped. "Oh Thank God! You're here!" She pulled her into her arms and then there was another one.
Oh no. no. no. Her mind screamed. They were not whom she thought they were. They couldn't be Rinu and Minu. No way. The girls looked like supermodels with their tall and lanky looks.
"Biiiiitchhh! We thought we lost you at the club!!!!"
"You need to get ready! Your mother has called a thousand times already!" She didn't know which one of the twins spoke but then the phone rang. "Oh there she goes again!" Tossing the iPhone in her hands she said, "You talk to her!"
